Book is my best friend

Hello my lovelies. I hope that you are healthy and happy staying at home with your family. Right now in Malaysia, we are still under Movement Control Order until 14th April 2020. I am not going to mention anything about the statistic at the moment because it's alarming. I pray to Allah that when 14th April comes there will be no more new cases and we can finally say we are safe.

Anyway in the mean time I am going to take this opportunity to read more books. I set a goal to read at least 20 books in 2020. So far I have read nine books and here are my lists so far:
  1. I found You by Lisa Jewel
  2. Everything is Figueroutable by Marie Forleo
  3. Buried Deep by Margo Hunt
  4. The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
  5. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (reread)
  6. The Astonishing Power of Emotions by EsterHicks
  7. You Are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero (reread)
  8. Happy Money by Ken Honda
  9. Romancing the Duke by Tessa Dare
Right now I am reading The House of Secrets by Brad Meltzer and Tod Goldberg. I have not read Brad Meltzer in a long time, I think this is the right time to pick up this book I bought last year. I am also listening to Lightning by Dean Koontz on audible, so far I like it. I have not read a book by Dean Koontz yet and I have no idea what his writing style is and I hope that I can enjoy it.

I have been a reader for as long as I can remember. I love getting suck into a world that is so much different than mine. I love being able to follow people falling in love and find love in unexpected places. I also enjoy reading about spies, conspiracy theories, thriller and cops story.

I am looking forward to productive week and welcoming April with open arms and hope.

MINDFUL: Positivity during difficult times

I am so happy and thankful that I am alive, happy and healthy tdoay. If possible start your day with gratitude . In Malaysia we are still under Movement Control Order (MOC) which has been extended until 14th April 2020. I have never experience anything like this in my lifetime. It's a bit scary and at the same time it makes me feel thankful that I am at a place where I am supposed to be with my children, we are alive, happy and healthy. This MOC forced us to take a pause and really really appreciate what we have. Let us take a moment and count our blessing, no matter how difficult life is right now, we can always find things that we are thankful for ....
  1. I still have a job . As a government officer, I still have a job during this MOC even though we are forced to stay at home and work from home. Only critical sectors are required to be at the office. As a soul provider in my house hold this is definitely a blessing.
  2. I have other income coming in from program PAKKP. I am so very much thankful that I have join Program Ayam Kampung PAKKP from 2018 which give you monthly benefits for as long as you live according to your donation. This extra money definitely help me and my family alot.
  3. I’m an introvert. Staying at home is definitely something that I enjoy doing. I can have tons of things to do lists at home. Social distancing is not something new to me, so I am going to embrace this side of me.
  4. I have fast internet connection. I have install internet connection using Maxis Home Fiber that comes with backup 4G network. So I am thankful that there's no distruption with my internet connection and I can stream any content that I like easily and effortlessly.
  5. Automatic moratorium for all of our loans for 6 months . I am so thankful for this because I can used the extra money to manage my financial and hopeful expedite my financial freedom journey.
  6. I am taking my time with my reading. I have love reading and I am not going to rush my reading during this MOC. I am going to take my time and enjoy the story.
  7. My whole family is at home with me. This gives me a peace of mind knowing that my kids are forbidden to be outside. I like know where my kids are at all times. Hehehe
  8. I can catch up on my online course. Now is the time for me to catch up with learning new stuffs and new skills. I am learning drawing on Procreate app on my ipad and I am enjoying this so far.
  9. I love working out at home. Now I don't have any reason not to work out. All I have is time and I allocate my evening with workout at home. I am hoping that by the end of this MCO I am much more healthy and fit to face the world
  10. I am glad that I am aware of Law of Attraction. I am going to do as much as I can to increase my vibration and be as mindful as possible. I am so thankful for this moment right here right now. It's raining outside and I love the smell of rain. With this rain, all of harmful viruses died and no more people get infected. Malaysia will be healthy again.
I hope that you also make a list of things you are thankful for. Gratitude is the key to fight this. Always be grateful.
Stay safe, stay at home and be happy always

Stay at home

I don't really know how to start writing this post. Today is Friday, 27th of March 2020 and I have been staying at home for 12 days now. In a blink of an eye, my world and the whole world around me changed in an instant. Right now there's a pandemic of Covid-19 virus that's effected every one in global scale. In less than three months the world has changed and in some country there is a total lockdown.

So many things has happened since the last time I write in this blog. I have been contemplating for a while now because I am not sure I want to document my exactly feeling.

Being an empathy is not easy because I can easily catch on other people's fear and I can be feel a lot of emotions so strongly. Controlling how I feel is not easy.

These are a few facts that I want to remember:
  • working from home has been a dream of mine but not under these circumstances
  • I am so thankful that all of children are with me and we are healthy
  • I have to put on hold my plan for umrah because Arab Saudi Govt stop issuing Visa
  • It's scary to see Ka'bah close for sanitisation
  • In less than two weeks the numbered of people infected in Malaysia has jumped to 2031 from 500.
  • Our 7th Prime Minister - Tan Sri Dr Mahathir Mohamad resigned from being the prime minister and automatically all appointed cabinets minister lost their job.
  • Our 8th Prime Minister is Datuk Muhyiddin Yassin and there's not Deputy Prime Minister appointed.
  • My ministry changed again now to Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources - previously was Ministry of Water, Land and Natural Resources
  • I am so thankful that I can still afford to put food on our table. I hope that our food supplies are enough for every body during this difficult time
  • Now more than ever is very very important to raise our vibration and collectively focus on healing. I think our earth need to heal and maybe this is one of the ways that it can force human to pause and be mindful
  • I have not dressed up and put on any makeup during this time and it feels liberating not to try and be presentable for work
  • I still think that self care is so important right now
  • I start to learn how to use procreate and I have learn to draw with this app. This is so much fun
  • I also start to clean up my computer and phone
  • Oh I saw Apple release the new iPad Pro 2020 and it looks great. Maybe this is time for me to save some money and only buy all these new tech late this year or early next year.
I pray every day that we are safe from this pandemic and this will pass and make us a better human being. May Allah protect all of us.
