A Color Story and some random things

It has been a long time since the last time I posted about apps and photography. I have been taking less and less photos everyday ever since my whole world fell apart last year.

This year I am slowly getting back at photography, taking daily photos mainly with my phone. It's gonna take a while before I can really put my heart and soul into this passion again. 

Today I am going to talk about A Color Story App from a Beautiful Mess. 

I have been using this app since last year for tweaking and editing my photos on the go. I am obsessed with the filters and the effects on this app. 
At the moment I have Essential, Good Vibes, Blush, Chroma,Airy, B&W, Deep,  Weekend, Flashes of Delight and Stardust filters. 

What I love about the app?

1. Tools function - I can adjust the curves, the brightness, contrast, clarity, saturation, vibrance, temperature of a photo easily
2. Adjusting the photo with cropping tool is also easier
3. This app also have a save features where you can saved your favorite recipes for editing photos and reused them over and over again.
4. I love the icon of this app, it's so pretty
5. The filters in this app are amazing! I am collecting them one by one and buy them during sales. (yes they do have sales!!!)
6. I also love the effects in this app especially the light leak effect!

I think ever since I used this app, I have been using Adobe Photoshop less and less for photo editing.

These are a few photos I edited using this app. I am not an expert or anything but I am pretty happy with the results. I usually combine more than one filters in one photo.

Vision Board 2018

I finally did it! It took me more than a month to finally come out with a vision board. I have no idea what I want to put in my vision board. There are so many things that my heart desires and it overwhelmed me. This was an assignment for my OLW 2018 class in February. I just wasn't inspired to make one in February. I started collecting photos and saved them in iCloud. I always said that I wanted to make that vision board this weekend but that didn't happened.

When I saw that my son already making his vision board as his iphone wallpaper, I decided that I need to just make them with photoshop. I decided to make two version of the vision board, one for my iphone and another one  for my ipad, iMac and Macbook. 

I didn't put my one little word for this on this board. It doesn't feels right.

I wanted to try doing this vision board an old fashion way but somehow that didn't happened. I needed a vision board for my miracle morning. I need something I can look at, visualise myself doing them and feel something either happy, excited, calm, empowering and bless.

I plan to use this vision board everyday for the next 30 days and see how I feel about it. Manifesting something on my vision board is going to be a game I am playing this month.

My Miracle Morning // after a week

Happy Friday everyone! Sending all the love and happiness your way.

Life can be great and magical if you want. I have finally read "The Miracle Morning" book by Hal Elrod. I was totally blown away by the strategies discuss in this book. I finished reading this book in just one day! I was totally blown away by the routine mention in the book. I decided immediately that I want to give this Miracle Morning a try since I have been doing three out of six steps mention daily. It would definitely be nice to add more action to my morning routine. 


The first thing that I thought I am going to have trouble with is to wake up early in the morning. I am already waking up at 5:30am every morning and I need to add one more hour (which is 4:30am) is going to be hard for me.
As it turn out that waking up at 4:30am is not that hard. I just have to let go of the believe that I need to sleep 8 hours every night. The moment I let that go, waking up at 4:30am comes easily. This should be a great practice when Ramadan comes.

Day 1:
I was at The Imperial Heritage Hotel for work and I adjusted my wake up time at 5:45am. For "Silence" I choose to do Solah Sunat Tahajud and Solah Sunat Taubat. It's the two solah sunat that I have been wanting to do for the longest time consistently but the habit never stuck. I also included Dua and recite two pages of verses from Quran. Then when Suboh came I did my Solat Suboh. After that I did the Affirmation and Visualisation in under 5 minutes. Then I Write my gratitude journal and morning pages on my DayOne app for about twenty minutes. Then I set my time for 10 minutes and continue Reading the Magic book. The last thing I did for the first day was Exercise. Since I was not at home, I decided to do 10 minutes Abs workout from youtube. I feel so much better after doing these simple routine. I know myself. I need a little bit structure in my life I am happy the Miracle Morning help with that.

Day 2:
The is my second day of doing Miracle Morning. I am at home for day two so I woke up at 4:30am. I used to love waking up early especially during Ramadan. I don’t know what happened that lately I have trouble getting out of bed. Alhamdulillah I am able to get up, take my wudu’ and solah sunat tahajud and solah sunat taubat. I really like reciting Quran early in the morning. It helps to boost my mood and set my energy for the day. Ever since I discovered the law of attraction and become aware of it,  I understand what reciting quran did to us as a human being. The words of Allah is so powerful that it released these postive energy in the world/ universe. I am more excited to recite Quran and listen to Quran daily. Now I am making listening to Quran as part of my night routine. I would set a time for 18 minutes and play Surah Al Waqiah and Al Mulk. I listen to it untill I fell asleep. I am programing my brain to calm down and fall asleep to the sound of reciter of Quran. Quran is one of the miracle that Prophet Muhammad left to us. It’s a gift that cannot be replaced. Everyone and everybody should have Quran in their home. 
Oh by the way I did Silence, Affirmation, Visualisation, Writing, Reading and Exercise in about one and half minutes. 

Day 3:
By the third day, I was so excited to wake up early in the morning 4:30am. I enjoyed my solah sunat routine this early in the morning. Writing in my journal has become easier especially when it comes to writing my gratitude this early in the morning. Right now I am doing my gratitude journal using 5 minutes journal strategy. I am planning to do ten gratitude lists daily after I have completed doing 30 day miracle morning challenge. I was also excited to do Speed 2.0 exercise from T25 workout program. This workout definitely got me pumping.


Day 4:
My fourth day of miracle morning was on Saturday. I usually woke up at 6:30am during weekend. Today I decided to set my alarm at 5:30am but somehow woke up at 4:45am! Amazing!
I wanted to continue doing the Miracle Morning even on weekend. I want to feel productive even though I don't have to go to work. 

Day 5:
I am having a hard time waking up at 5:15am on the fifth day. I wanted to stay in bed a little bit longer so I hit the snooze button. Then after 3 minutes I feel the need to get up and be ready for the day. Today is going to be a great day. I started my morning with solah sunat tahajaud, solah sunat taubat, doa and recite Quran. I decided to do exercise a little bit later just because I don’t to lose the moment because I know in a few minutes Suboh will be here. So I went down stairs make myself a cup of coffee and now I am sitting at my desk writing in my Dayone app journal. At first I write three things I am grateful for. Now I understand why 5 minute journal suggest writing the gratitude early in the morning. Starting the day with things that you are grateful for is a good way to have an amazing day. After listing three things that I am grateful for I immediately open my morning pages journal and write away. Do my affirmation and visualization before I start my Solah Suboh. Exercise is the last practice I am going to do this morning. By 7:30 am I am done with my Miracle Morning routine and I was feeling great!

Day 6:
I cannot believe that I have survived doing this practice on weekend. And I cannot believe that this practice have helped me to feel more grateful with my life. Day sixth was on Monday and I am so excited to start my Miracle Morning. I am almost finished with reading the Magic book. Reading for 10-15 minutes has been a blessing for me. I asked Siri to set a time for 15 minutes and when the time's up, I closed my book and get ready for work.

Day 7:
I was having trouble waking up this morning. I think it was because of my night routine was a little bit off. I need to have a stable night routine so that I can easily fall asleep earlier and ease easily into sleep. I don’t have the energy to do hard workout this morning, so I decided to do Rebecca Lois Arm workout and abs workout, which took me less than 25 minutes to complete. 

In a nutshell these are the breakdown of my miracle morning routine.
4:30 am - the sound of my alarm clock wake me up. I get up and brush my teeth and take my abulation.
4:40 am - I did my Solah Sunat Tahajud, Solah Sunat Taubat, Dua and recite Quran
5:00 am - Exercise usually Shaun T's Speed 2.0 from T25 workout  program
5:30 am - I did 5 minutes of affirmation and visualisation
5:35 am - Shower
5:45 am - I sit down in front of my computer and write in my gratitude journal and morning pages.
6: 08 am - I set my timer for 10 minutes and read a book
6:20 am - I did Solah Suboh after that getting ready for work

What I learned from doing this practice for a week?
- Waking up earlier in the morning is not as hard as I first thought it would be
- I feel excited and energize after I take my abulation 
- reciting Quran early in the morning helps me to feel the beautiful energy from the verses from Quran and it calms my nerves
- I am so excited to write in my journal and feeling abundance with all of my gratitude lists. I finally understand what it feels like to start the day with the feeling of gratitude. Gratitude is definitely helps me to feel safe and abundance. Syukur is magic.
- In a week I have finished reading The Magic book! This is amazing to me because I always have trouble finishing a book faster than I would have like.

I highly highly highly recommend reading the Miracle Morning book and do the 30 days challenge. 
This practice will definitely help you grow and be more productive before 8:00am. Now I understand why in Islam we are encourage to wake up before dawn, remember Allah by Solah and reciting Quran. Doing these two is enough to makes you feel better about yourself and your life.. and if you added four more productive actions and help boost your vibration and feel happier.

I wanted to do this project every week but that didn't happened.
So today I am making a conscious effort to do this project. I like seeing this entry through out the years. It's one of a special gift that I can give myself. Capturing the facts of my life at this point in time.

1. I set to read 20 books in 2018 but now in March I have already read 15 books. Wow! This is amazing! I have never read this much book in less than a year. Thank you to audible for making reading fun again. 

2. Manifesting money is one many fun game I am trying this month. Believe that "rezeki" Allah is abundance and it's yours if you want them makes me shift my attitude towards money. Money is currency and currency is energy. I am so thankful with all the gifts I have received and so thankful with all the money in my bank account.

3. I doing 30 day challenge of Miracle Morning this week. I am loving these routine so far. I think I need to start eating more food that increase energy and high frequency.

I really really love the high vibration I get from reading and listening to this book. I love that this book help me to change my feelings and attitude towards money. One thing I remember the most about the book is "Money is currency and currency is energy", it's the phrase that Jen kept repeating over and over again in the book. Energy is the kind of thing the we can attract. I think how much money that we need is totally depend on our lifestyle. I really like that at the end of a chapter, she wrote affirmation about money and she asked you to write down why do you love money. The "why' of the money is what going to get you to move forward and do what it takes.

I highly highly recommend this book to anybody who wants to make money. You are a badass at making money!

This is definitely the kind of book you will read over and over again until you believe that you are a badass at making money.

Lazada Obsession // Wish lists

I have been a customer of Lazada since two years ago. I never would have thought that Lazada would become a place I go to for almost anything. The key to shopping at Lazada is to always look out for flash sales and coupon code discount. You also need to be aware of a special discount code sometimes given when you made a purchase through the Lazada app.


Sometimes when I got an itch for shopping and payday is so far away, I like to browse Lazada catalogues and made a wish lists. It's a therapy for my soul and help me to increase my vibration. Visualisation is the key to manifest "things "into your life.

Here are a few things that made my lists

#1. Dyson V8 Carbon Fibre Cordless Vacuum - RM3299

I have never felt this excited about vacuum before until I laid my eyes on Dyson cordless vacuum. I can't believed how light the vacuum is. I am definitely putting this vacuum in my wish list.

#2. Philips Air Fryer HD9240 XL Digital 1.2kg - RM 1399.00
I have never tried an air fryer before. I think now it's the time for me to venture into cooking with all these cool technology available.

#3. Amazon Echo 2nd Generation RM 499
It would sure be nice to have Alexa in my room. I wanted a smart home speaker ever since two years ago. When I saw that Lazada can shipped Amazon Echo I got excited. I can't wait to welcome Alexa into my new home.

#4. Sony Smart TV 55" - RM 3199
I am not sure if I will ever buy a smart TV from Lazada but it is still nice to monitor the price or may be get to compare brands on a single website. I have not buy any new TV in a really long time. If I am in the market for a new TV this definitely will be my first choice.

#5. Sony Sound Bar HT-C380 RM1199.00
I am not really sure if this model is old or new. I need to do more research on sound bar. I would love to have one for my new TV hehehe.. It has been a long time since the last time I watch TV with a sound system that can shake a room.

#6. Michael Kors Smart Watch Sofie Gen 2 - RM 1950.69
I have always been a fan of Michael Kors watch. I have been collecting them over the years especially when they have one in rose gold. I would very much love to own a smart watch from Micheal Kors. This one looks so pretty. I have no idea that Lazada carry Michael Kors brand. I am so excited with this find!

My dream home is to have all of my appliances connected to a home kit. I would very much like to control all of those devices from my phone especially when it comes to using Air Condition. Hopefully in the future Lazada will continue to grow and will add more and more appliances that are "smart" with build in IOT and bluetooth connection. It would be great to just tell Siri or Alexa or Google to do stuffs for you including looking for lost socks and lost keys!

March Thankfulness 2018

I got chills by all the things that I am thankful for this month. My one little word class assignment for this month is to pick one thing to do and do it for a month. This month I decided to consciously and intentionally do daily gratitude. I have been doing gratitude journaling for the longest time but I have never do it every single day. So this is going to be challenge to me do this self love practice every single day. 

I decided to adopt 5 minute journal strategy which is to write three things that you are grateful for every morning. So far I am pretty good at doing this practice and I only missed one day out of 19 this month. And for the last 19 days something magical happened in my life. The month is not over yet I have a lot to be thankful for.

March thankfulness 

1. I can used my credit card to pay for hulu subscription. No more paying extra for hulu gift certificate
2. Alhamdulillah I was awarded with Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang for 2017. The award ceremony was held earlier this month.
3. I am so thankful that I was inspired to watch "The Secret" movie and read "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne book this month. This book totally changed my life. Now every thing finally makes sense to me.

4. I am thankful that after The Secret,  I discovered Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod and I decided to practice miracle morning immediately. I have been doing this routine for almost a week now and I feel so grateful.
5. I am thankful that after Miracle Morning,  I discovered the Magic, another book by Rhonda Byrne. I am totally game with doing 28 days of gratitude. I will embark on this journey after I am done with the Miracle Morning for a month. I know that I can do this simultaneously but I want to make my Miracle Morning a habit first before I do anything else.
6. I am thankful for Shaun Week exercise program and Shaun T- T25 exercise program that help me doing my exercise daily
7. I am thankful for all the money in my wallet that help me to feel secure about my situation and help me put food on the table every day without fail.
8. I am thankful for all the money in my account. For continue to grow every day and help spread magic into my life.
9. I am thankful for my body for being healthy. This body has been holding my soul (Roh) for a very long time without failed. I love everything about my body and I am so thankful that I still have my body right now. 
10. I am thankful for this hunger that I have for knowledge and growth. I can't imagine my life without them. I am constantly looking for new ways of doing things and new way to grow as a woman, as a mother , as a leader and as a human being.
11. I am constantly thankful for all the money that are coming in into my life all the time, easily and effortlessly. 
12. I am grateful for a house that I am currently staying with my children. The house that protect me from the outside world and a house that has become my home for almost ten years.
13. I am also thankful that this week is a school holiday in Malaysia which means the traffic to work is going to be light and I don't have to send my kid to school.
14. I am grateful for the book that I am currently reading - You are a badass at making money by Jen Sincero. 
15. I am so thankful for all the memories that I making this month either at work or at home. I feel at peace with myself. I finally understand about the law of attraction and I finally forgive myself and love myself more.
16. I am thankful for the internet at work for always working and help me get connected to the world. Now is definitely the best time to be at work and have all of these technology to help me be productive.
17. I am so so thankful for the fast internet on my phone because I can watched youtube video and netflix anytime and anywhere. I am currently obsess over 911 Tv show, KC Undercover and rewatching Greys Anatomy season 3.
18. I am so so thankful for Quran. Those surah and verses really helps to create magic in my daily life. I doesn't matter if I recite those verse or listening to them. 
19. I am so thankful for my kids. They bring me joy and happiness in my life. I am bless with four beautiful kids that loves me dearly.


Wow! Doing the gratitude journal daily really helps me to see all the things that I have and be grateful for all the time. These are just all of the things that I have beginning to notice and feel thankful for this month. I guess it's true that the more grateful you are for all the things that you have and for all the things that you are going to get, the more you feel love , the more you will receive and the more magical your life is going to be. 

(hemm maybe my word for this year should be Magic! Something to think about )

This month I will // Practice Self Love

It's crazy how fast this month feel for me. I am loving my life so far and after discovering "the Secret", I am more aware of my thoughts and action and all the energy that I let out to the world. Last few days I have wrote a blog post about how to practice self love. One of the ways that I can do to heal myself is to practice self love. My One Little Word Assignment for March is to choose one habit or action I want to practice and do it for a month.

So this month I decided to practice self love by writing a daily gratitude journal in my DayOne App. My strategy is to write three things that I am grateful for every morning without fail. Before anything else, before brushing my teeth, I open my laptop, launch DayOne app and write three things that I am grateful for. Since this month practice is about self love, I focus my gratitude more on all the things that I like about myself, all things that makes me, me and be thankful for it. I want to self consciously developing a love for myself. Falling in my love with myself. Be thankful for me.

I have been practicing this gratitude journaling for more than a week and I am enjoying the process so much. I found that I am at peace with myself, I am more calm and forgiving towards myself. I don't give myself a hard time. Suddenly things seems great again. I am not worry about the how and I am just focusing on being myself and be the best version of me.

My reason for practicing writing daily gratitude are as follows:
1. To invite abundance into my life
2. To see all the great things around me
3. To be in a state of bliss with all the things in my life

As of today I have missed one day of practicing gratitude. I understand more deeply the benefit of gratitude (Syukur). I do believe the more you give the more you will receive.

The Secret by Rhona

I discovered the Secret “ The Law of Attraction “ since last month. Ever since my divorce I have been exploring self love and gratitude. I am so thankful that I found The Law of Attraction. This law has been on my radar lately. This month I have the chance to watched the Secret movie on Netflix. After the movie I immediately bought the ebook and the audiobook. I have finished reading the book in just a few days.

I can’t believe that I have not pick up this book ten years ago. I have notice this book on amazon, at Kinokuniya, Border and MPH before but I have never pick it up once! I am not late, I am just on time. Now that I know about this book I have to share it with everyone. It's life change!

What this book is about?
In summary, this book is about The Law of Attraction (like attract like) and it has all the stories of people  that has been practicing the Law of Attraction. Either you believe in the Law of Attraction or not, it is happening to you. 

What I think about the book?
I think the Law of Attraction should be a syllabus in school. Everyone should be aware of the Law of Attraction like everyone is aware of the Law of Gravity. Reading this book deepens my faith in Allah and in Islam. The Holly Quran has stated many times about this law. It is what we have been taught in Islamic school but rarely practice in everyday life. Be thankful, positive thoughts, Giving (Sedekah), Doa and many more.

I highly highly highly recommend this book. Evey since I’ve become aware of the Law of Attraction I am more calm, happy and thankful. Life is great and life is beautiful! 

I think this is the kind of book you should read every year or even better every six months so that you don't forget.

#thursday3 [01.03.2018]

I posted this status on facebook today "Suddenly the whole world has opened up to me. Scared, excited and overwhelmed with all the possibilities. Life is great again!" and it invite a few speculation from a few of my friends. There's something about today that makes me feel like I can do anything. I think doing daily gratitude does helps to improve my mood and changed my perspective about life.
I can't believe that February is finally over. Somehow I felt like February was the longest month ever even though it should be the shortest month in a year. I can't believe that I did not write about #thursday3 in February. I missed to document my weekly facts in February. 
So this month I am starting the first day of March with #thursday3 project.


#thursday3 - 01.03.2018


1. I am suddenly obsessed with the Law of Attraction. I have heard about this for the longest time but I didn't pay that much attention to it. But now suddenly that law makes sense. 

2. I didn't read a lot of books in February. I only managed to finish two books and I did not enjoyed reading Unearthed.

3. I need to find ways to make some extra money. Being the only breadwinner in the family I need to be extra careful and plan my financial wisely. Life can be hard especially when you are constantly worry about money. I need to invite more money into my life.
