Day 31:365 // Laundry Mart

This looks a lot like Laundry Mart. This is what happened when all of your family member don't do their own laundry and when the laziness comes and folding those laundry take a back seat.

I am so thankful that I can rely on my daughter to deal with all the laundry drama. I personally can only deal with washing the clothes. Hanging the clothes and let it dry and collect them when they are dry, folding them and put them away can really stress me out especially when dealing with other people clothes.

If only they invent a machine that can do all that in a blink of an eye, I will definitely save some money to buy them. hehehe....

Life unscripted // PL inspiration

My memory keeping journey for 2017 is progressing well. My process has been a simple one for me. I decided to do Project 365 this year and I am using my blog post as a medium for me to document my daily lives. So when it's time for me to make a scrapbook layout with Project Life App, I just cut and paste the journaling from my blog post. I can also write what ever comes to mind the moment I made the layouts. Either way I have enough documentation of my life at the moment to last me a life time ( if internet still exist in 100 years).

Day 30:365 // random Monday

It's still a holiday here in Malaysia. Some random things I did today:
- marathon Resident Evil's movies
- setting up my planner in GoodNotes app
- clean up and backup my GoodNotes
- organise my notes in GoodNotes
- archives finished journal and planners to my Evernote
- organise my Evernote notes and notebook
- start 21 day fix extreme for Round 4 and Plyo still get me every time!
- fixed ipod touch 5 screen
- watched the latest episode of Grimm

day 29: 365 // weekend fun

It is still fun to just hang out at home and enjoy the little things around you. I am definitely enjoying the company of this little boy. And I can do my workout anytime I like. Today is the last day of my Chisel program. Tomorrow I will move to the first week of 21 day of fix extreme again. I have been doing about three round of this program before but I am still scared to do it again. It's definitely tougher than Chisel - a lot of jumping and bonus round.

day 28:365 // Triple X Return of Xander Cage

I totally forgot that this movie will be out this year. I have been a fan of the Triple X series since the beginning. Watching a pure action movie is definitely fun. I have nothing much to complaint about except that this movies feels a little bit like Fast and Furious .
I would definitely love to watch more of this series especially when they have a team of triple X unite.

day 27:365 // Life unscripted

I am definitely not the kind of girl who likes to do the same thing over and over again. This morning we did something different. Other than recruiting new team member, we also dis something different - walking around our office area and hit about 2,000 steps. Lucky me.
I am also in the shopping mood for anything related to fitness and outdoor activities. This windbreaker cost about RM669 and it feels so light and warm.

Day 26:365 // #thursday3

Happy Thursday everyone! I am feeling a bit tired today. After four days of intensive training I think I needed a break. Today is definitely going to be light day for me. Hopefully I don't over indulge.

1. - I can't believe that after almost a year I am still having so much fun planning with the iPlanner on my ipad pro. I think Apple Pencil has a lot to with this. Writing so Apple Pencil feel like a real thing

2.- My new purple hijab for hike to Pine Tree Next week. I hope that everything will go smoothly as plan.

3.- I am extremely happy that in less than two months I have successfully loose 36cm all over. That is a good number to loose. I hope than I can shred a few more centimetres in the next few weeks.

16 things I learned in two thousand sixteen

I have always like the beginning of the year. It's usually the time that you reflect on things that happened last year and assess lessons you have learned last year. Overall I think 2016 is one of the best year of my life. I have did so many things I never thought possible and I have never thought I would ever do.

Lesson Learned in 2016

HERE ARE SIXTEEN THINGS I LEARNED IN TWO THOUSAND SIXTEEN

1. I learned that I can walk up the stairs up until 18th floor! I usually set my mind that I only take the stairs up to my office's floor which is on the 5th floor. I've always felt out of breath every time I reached 5th floor. Than one day I follow my office mate up until 18th floor in less than ten minutes. It's amazing what you can do with the right company and the right attitude.

2. I really enjoy doing cardio more than I should have. I need to add more strength training in my workout routine this year. That means I am definitely going to do more The Master's Hammer and Chisel and Get Ripped workout this year

3. I learned that weight loss progress doesn't always reflect on a scale. I used to be so obsessed with seeing the number on a scale going down. When I can't see the number going down I felt so stressed out. This year I am definitely going to measure my progress by the clothes I'm wearing and by how strong I get. My goal this year is to do push up daily

4. Travel to other places definitely a good thing. It open up my mind to what life is like in other country. I would definitely love to travel more this year.

5. I really enjoyed reading self-help book. I read Getting Things Done, Better Than Before, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and many more. I am definitely going to find more books related to productivity and self care. Read and implement them in my daily lives

7. I really miss doing Project 365. I decided to take a break from doing this project last year. I realised that I suddenly become lazy in documenting my life through photos. So this year I am doing Project 365 again and so far I am really enjoying it

8. It's ok to take a break from doing things that you love. For me I took a few months off from scrapbooking. I suddenly felt burnt out from scrapbooking. I didn't feel like making beautiful layouts anymore. All I want to do is live my life and write about them in my journal. Nothing more. 

9. There are many ways of saying no without really saying it. I learned that I still have to sharpened my skills in this area. In my line of work, saying no is rarely an option but there are other ways that you can say no without really saying no. Now I understand what my previous KSU meant by " there's a thousand ways of saying no". It's a little bit political which is hard for me to grabs but I am sure going to try.

10. Hiking! I seriously never would have thought I would be suck back into the hiking world. Thanks to Latiffah and Zahrina for this activity that I am addicted to. I am not really an outdoor person but I am definitely a sucker for doing anything that can burnt hundreds of calories and can take a lot of selfies at the same time. I am not going to set any hiking goals or go hunting for which Mountain to climb but I probably would not say no easily.

11. Invest in yourself! It is the best investment you ever made in your life! The greatest asset that you have is not your house, your car or your money. The greatest asset that you have is YOU. So don't be afraid to invest in yourself - emotionally, spiritually, physically and mentally. Read, Write, eat health food, no sugar, so salt, Journaling, Hiking, Running, donate, recite Quran, save money, travel , do what ever you have to do to keep yourself well maintain and functioning properly. I am definitely going to make a separately goals and action plan in these four core areas

12. Bullet Journal - I discovered that I love Bullet Journaling. At first I thought this method is a bit analog and restricted. I am so glad that I was wrong. Bullet Journal is definitely more flexible and it can evolved to be what ever you want it to be. Now I am hooked!

13. I am definitely more aware of habits. Before reading "Better Than Before" I thought habit is just the thing that you do on a daily basis without thinking about it. Habit definitely play an important role in our daily lives. The thing that stuck with me is in order to do things that is hard - turned them in habit and you don't have to think about it anymore. It just happened. That is why the bullet journal community focus hard on habit tracker. It's a tool that can help you develop new habits. So this year I am definitely going to develop a few new habits like doing Push Up daily and Donate RM1 a day and track them on my journal

14. I discovered Kindle in Malaysia! I can't believe it. Kindle has been in Malaysia for five years and I just knew about it during Big Bad Wolf book outlet at The Mines last December. After a lot of research I decided to buy Kindle Voyage even though I really want Kindle Oasis. Anyway I still enjoy reading on my Kindle and it's definitely feel more like a real paper compare to iPad mini. And I also learn how to convert epub books format to mobi format. 

15. Be grateful! Gratitude is not something that just happened. You just have to train your mind and your heart to see the good in people, the good in every bad situation and the good in everyday. It's easier to appreciate life what every thing is good but it takes a lot to see the good in a bad situation. Keeping a gratitude journal is essential to help you see the good things in your life even though sometimes you feel like your world is falling apart.

16. Never let the day go by without Reciting or listening to Quran. Quran is  definitely the best food for your soul. There's no better way of explaining what I learned from this habit, you just have to experience it for yourself. Sometimes it feels like magic.

That are some of the things that I learned in two thousand sixteen. I am sure there are many more that I learned that did not make the lists. I don't want this post to be super duper long because once I started to type I just can't seem to stop.

day 25:365 // Team Spirit

I am glad and happy that I have such a wonderful people in my team. We spend majority of our time together, so building a great relationship with each other is super important. I have to move away from the mentally of an Industrial Age and move to a digital age mentality. Life is so much more than your work.

In 2017 I will not allow myself to feel like I have to go to work every morning, I rather feel excited to go out and play. So this year my office will be my playground, it will be my place to interact with people, to explore new ideas and to inspire others to be the best version of themselves. 

"Love what you do - If you do something out of duty it will deplete you but if you do something out of love ❤️ it will energize you!"

Thanks to all of my beautiful team members for putting up with my crazy ideas and crazy ways doing things. You are definitely the best!!!

Day 24:365 // Fit 2017

Fit 2017 online class by Cathy Zielskie
This is the first time I decided to join Cathy's Fit 2017 class this year. My intention for joining the class this year is because I want to document my fitness journey. What better way to CONNECT with my routine other than to journal about it with more structure and build a healthy habit at the same time.


What I love about this class so far are:
1. It's a one year long class. This hopefully will help to keep me in check and motivate me all year long
2. Friendly facebook group as a support system with Cathy
3. Journal cards and printable for journaling.
4. It's a free format kind of fitness group. You can basically do what ever activities that you like and be accountable for your decisions






For this project I decided to use:
- my iPad Pro 9.7 and GoodNotes app to host my fit journal
- Apple pencil as my pen to write on the journal
- Apple watch and Fitbit as my fitness tracker
- Autumn Calabrese workout - 21 Day Fix Extreme, The Master's Chisel, Country Heat and probably Insanity Max 30 some where along the way.
- Apple Cidar Vinegar and Dates Vinegar for detoxification
- 1 Liter bottle water every where - at home, in my car, at the office
- I also join Your Fit Journey with Autumn Calabrese facebook group to motivate me to keep moving

Day 23:365 // Progress

It has been a year since I started with my journey on health and fitness a.k.a doing everything that I can to loose weight. At first I can see the number on the scale moving down but after awhile the number will not move at all. Today I decided to ditch the scale and focus on building my strength and shrinking my size to a comfortable size S - a.k.a reducing the centimeter 😁. In other words don't give up, trust the process and connect with what works for me.

As always every Sunday morning I go outside and walk around the neighbourhood. I saw these shoes on the porch sitting there waiting (begging) to be use. Hiking may not be an activity that I am passionate about but I still enjoy them. The amount of calories that get burned during this activity alone is pretty amazing.

Day 20:365

It's Friday and I am in the mood for self reflection and memory keeping. I have been scrapping some photos from two thousand sixteen like crazy just because I don't want to pass the APRIL 2017 deadline for me to use my purchased coupon for a photo book. So during my break I grab my phone to do my scrapbook page while watching Bridget Jone's Dairy. It has been awhile since the last time I watch this movie. Suddenly I have the urge to keep a diary and loosing weight. If only I could loose weight as easily as Rene Zellweger for her role in this movie, I would be a little bit happier.

Things that happened today
- #selfie mode : I only took these two photos today
- I am obsess with Kindle Voyage at the moment
- I am suddenly in a mood for journaling. So far I have written a few sentences daily about my Project 365 photo challenge
- I still have not decide which planner will be my main planner
- I finished reading Scrappy Little Nobody today. I just finished watching Notting Hill movie and somehow Scrappy Little Nobody managed to change my experience with Notting Hill. Hemm suddenly I have the urge to watch all Hugh Grant movies
- I am a bit. nervous because I still doesn't have enough pages to print my 2016 photo book volume 2. Now I have the itch to hunt my old photos and make layouts.
- I started reading Outliers. Can't wait to discover what this book is all about.

Dinner time with the family. Lately it has been just the four of us, my other two sons are already busy with their own world. It's just a matter of time before she follows her brothers footsteps and venture in the real world. It's a little bit scary to let your kids out in the world but there's nothing you can do except pray that they will be ok and pray that Allah will protect them not matter where they are.

Beyond the Surface // PL Pages

At first I wanted to finish up all of the photos I wanted to scrapbook for 2016 before starting with 2017 photos. It seems impossible to ignore all those photos that I have taken so far in 2017. I decided to do Project 365 for 2017 and therefor I have so many photos waiting in my camera roll. So tonight I decided to make layouts from 2017 and in less than an hour I got eleven pages. Project Life App is definitely the app that I used for this challenge. 

Connect with Memory Keeping with Project Life App is definitely easier and faster. I really need to try journaling by using Siri. I know it can be done but somehow it's harder for me to talk than to type. The introvert in my just want to see the words somehow.

Day 17: 365 #scrappylittlenobody

I am currently reading Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick and listening to the audio book at the same time. I have no idea how funny this girl is. She might not be my favorite character in Twilight but she definitely leave enough mark that I recognised her in any other movies like What to Expect When you are expecting and Pitch Perfect. I am enjoying it so far. The first thing that grabbed my attention was all the lists that she loves to make and I can totally relate to that. I am not really a fan of Anna but I love to read. From what I am read and listen to so far, she has managed to pull me into her world. And her reading voice is amazing.

Day 16:365

It's another Monday morning and it was raining heavily since 5:00 am this morning. I had to make an executive decision about the time I had to start my commute to work. Starting early cause me to arrive at work a little bit earlier. This give me time to start planning for the week.  It's always a good idea to remind myself about the seven habits especially "Begin with the End" habit and mind set. And I just love making plans using iPlanner 2017 using my ipad.

Day 15:365

One of the reason why I hate working outside the office and had to travel to another city is my whole daily routine got disrupted and it's not easy to get back the groove. I have so many things on my lists and somehow I failed to get back on track. I only did my daily workout and today's schedule is Cardio Chisel and 15 min. Glutes workout. Chisel is definitely focus more on strength training and less on cardio which in a way love but it really push my body to the limit. After that brutal workout I had to go to Al Ihsan and look for a new workout clothes. My pants are a little bit loose and it's definitely not comfortable to jump and run in them.

I have not seen this boy for two days and I really missed him. I just can't get enough of his hugs and kisses. I love the way he looks at me like I am the most important person in the world for him. I just want to hold on to this feeling as long as I can. Once he discovered that the world is bigger than just me, he might want to fly away and spread his 'wings'.

Day 10 - Day 11 : 365

I was heartbroken yesterday that cause me to not be able to eat or do anything else including blogging.
I really have to dig deep to find the things to be thankful for that day. It's easier to find things to be thankful for when your life flow smoothly. It is definitely harder to find things to be thankful for when you have a bad day. Doing Project 365 really helps me to see the world more clearly and be really thankful for for the little things.

Day 10 - It's a great morning and we enjoyed the morning outside.
