Merdeka !!!! 🇲🇾 59

Happy Independence day Malaysia!!!! It's 59 years today since the day we got our independence from British. We were finally our own nation, our own country and our own rules. Alhamdulillah.

We may have our own differences and our own views but when it comes to protecting our country we are one. #sehatisejiwa.
May Allah bless us all. Amin. Happy Merdeka Day to all Malaysian all over the world. No matter where we are we are still Malaysian!!!

I love Malaysia 🇲🇾

I am having way too much fun with Project Life App

I was having the time of my life. Last week Project Life app In app Kit was having a sale. All kits were $0.99 which was about RM4.00 for me. I did buy a few kits during the sales especially from the Stamp Up collection which I know that they were $1.99.

With the new purchased came a few layouts using the same images. I don't really care. Most of the photos I used are for my Geng Panjat Tangga photo book album and 2016 photo book album volume 2. I like having a purpose and a goal to achieve by the end of the year. I can not wait to compile all of these memories into a photo book.

HERE ARE MY SCRAPBOOK LAYOUTS FOR THIS PROJECT AT THE MOMENT

Hike this: Mossey Forest a.k.a Mount Irau

Date: 28 August 2016 [Sunday]
Place: Cameron Highland, Pahang, Malaysia
Mount: Mount Irau
Height: 2110 meters
Facts: "Mount Irau (Malay: Gunung Irau) is a high mountain located at Pahang. Its summit is 2110 metres (6922 feet), making it the 15th highest mountain in Malaysia. Mossy forest and fairyland, cold wind and misty clouds; are some of the characteristics at Irau. One must hike about three hours to reach Irau from the base of the mountain." excerpt from Wikipedia

I am still super duper tired from the trip. The normal rate to reach the top is about 3 hours but we took about 5 hours for resting and photo shoot.

I am not going to lie, it was challenging for me. At the age of forty five walking and climbing were not easy. Every steps has to be planned and calculate. Otherwise I can easily fell down.

How I am listing this September

Hello ladies! I am excited to share how I am listing this September. I have been doing this project for the longest time and I have tired digital and notebook style listing. I enjoyed both method so  much.

This September (for 30 days of lists challenge) I decided to go digital using GoodNotes app. For those who don't know GoodNotes app is a note taking app for ipad. Majority of my notes and planner are in GoodNotes.

I did most of my designs on my iMac using Adobe Photoshop using Digital Scrapbook Kits from my collection.

I designed four basic page on my iMac and saved the jpeg files on Dropbox. From GoodNotes I add these four pages as a Template page so that I can reused the pages over and over again.

Then I can add the title lists provided in this challenge daily as images. I can either type in my lists or write the list using Apple Pencil. At the end of the month I can saved September lists as a pdf file either to print or to make a photo book or print them out. The option are limitless.

The supplies that you need for this project - iMac, Photoshop (both are optional because you can do the decorating right inside Goodnotes but it takes a little bit of time), iPad Pro 9.7", Apple Pencil, GoodNotes app and digital scrapbook kits.

#thursday3 [25.08.2016]

#thursday3 challenge is back. I like the idea of writing some random facts about my life at the moment. It's the simplest form of journaling. I have been doing this project for the longest time. The best thing about doing this project is to document the little things about your life at the moment that you might forget about in a month or two.

HERE ARE MY PHOTO AND FACTS FOR THE WEEK

1. I am obssessed with counting steps. Hitting 10,000 steps a day has been my goal lately
2. I join 30 days of lists for September 2016. Can't wait to start.
3. I stop doing double workout this week. I need to go easy, my body just can't handle the stress

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Think about it this way…If you take one picture and write down three facts each week — at the end of the year you’ll have more than 50 photos of yourself and 150 facts about what life has been like. It would make such an epic All About Me book — and most of the work is already done." - rukristin.com

Geng Panjat Tangga 2016 Photo book Part 1

This year I am blessed with the health and strength to keep on moving. I am also bless with all the positive people around me who wanted to make a different. The story for me began when I was shocked by the fact that I was over weight at the end of December 2015. I have never reached that weight unless I was pregnant.

So in January I was determine to make some changes in my life to loose weight and be more active. I have a four year old in the house and I just can't keep up with him. I am always tired and I can't move around as much.

I started to take the stairs at the office by myself from B1 to 5 early in the morning and make a conscious effort to move as much as possible daily. I was still eating like I was and I have managed to loose about 3 kg in three months.

Then towards the end of April, one of my colleague started to follow me taking the stairs during lunch break. Then another colleague started the movement of climbing the stairs until 17th floor as a group. I decided to join her sometime in May and the rest is history. The journey to fitness began for us and we have managed to recruit a few people to join in the fun. We took photos almost daily and I decided to make a few layouts with them.

My plan is to continue taking the stairs and taking photos until the end of the year. I might document them in a journal or print them out as a photo book album.

I am having so much fun watching these time line photos of us. It's like a mini motivation for me to keep on moving. My next goal will be to run from G to 18th floor..  ðŸ˜€...

TV Series that I am loving right now 2016

Summer is almost over. All of my favorite TV shows will be back for Fall (hopefully all of them). I am a bit sad when I heard that they are not going to continue with a new season for Grandfather and Telenovela.

In the meantime I enjoyed watching these shows either on Netflix, iflix, hulu or cinemabox. Some of the shows are still running and some of them are already got canceled.

1. Wayward Pines Season 2
- This show is getting weird by the minute. I am not sure if they will bring back the show for season 3

2. Happy Ending [Season 1 - Season 3]
I am currently catching up watching these series and I enjoyed it so much. It feels like F.R.I.E.N.D.S

3. Younger [Season 1 - Season 2]
I love this show. It "follows 40-year-old Liza (Foster), a suddenly single mother who tries to get back into the working world, only to find out it's nearly impossible to start at the bottom at her age. When a chance encounter with a 20-something guy at a bar convinces her she looks younger than she is, Liza tries to pass herself off as 26 -- with the help of a makeover, courtesy of her best friend Maggie (Mazar). Armed with new confidence, she lands a job as an assistant to the temperamental Diana (Shor) and teams up with her new co-worker and fellow 20-something Kelsey (Duff) to make it in the career of her dreams. " Written by TVland excerpt from imdb.com

4. Lost girl [Season 1 - Season 2]
I like the show in the beginning but I am not liking where the show is heading. I am not sure if I will continue watching the show. Maybe after I get over the idea of Bo and Dyson getting back together.

5. Devious Maids [ Season 4]
My favorite show during Summer.

6. Mistresses [ Season 4]
I have skipped season 3 all together because I can't accept the show without Alyssa Milano. After a year I started watching Season 4 and I am enjoying the show so much. Maybe I will go back to season 3 and watched it

7. Pretty Little Liars [ Season 7]
I have been watching this show since season 1 and I still enjoyed it so much especially when the girls started to wear Apple Watch.

8. Jennifer Falls [Season 1]

I really like this show, too bad it got canceled. Urgh!!!

9. Dark Matter [ Season 1]

I put this show on my list base solely on the synopsis of the tv series. I love story about space and memory lost.

10. Lie To Me [ Season 3]
I like this show. It's about Cal Lightman, the world's leading deception expert who studies facial expression and body language to read people. Too bad it's only survive until season 3.

These lists alone enough to keep be occupied until Fall. What about you? Do you have any TV Series that you are currently watching. Tell me what other TV series I should put on my lists.

30 days of Lists September 2016

It has been a really long time since the last time I joint 30 days of lists challenge with Kam and  Amy. I missed doing the challenge with a great and inspiring people in 30 days of lists challenge. So this month I decided to join in the fun again. I want to feel excited about something and be inspired.

Now I have to decide how I am going to hosts my lists. I have an option of doing it digitally or traditionally with pen and paper. I enjoyed both version very much.

At the moment I am thinking of using the same journal that I am currently used for #listersgottalist challenge in August. I still have no idea how I am going to approach this project. Decorating a list page seems fun but I am not sure how I am going to find the time to do them.

Going digital can be so much fun because designing with my phone is getting easier and easier. I don't have to print them. I can used my current digital scrapbook collection kits from dropbox on my phone.

Proudest moment of being a mother

I was tagged by one of my friend to post one photo of my proudest moment of being a mother. I have delayed playing just because I can't choose only one photo.

Then suddenly yesterday I saw my eldest son doing his course work with passion and at that moment I felt proud to be his mother. So beautiful art work. I secretly wish I could draw like him. I immediately took out my phone and snapped a few photos of him doing his thing.

And I can't resist making a Project Life layout with these photos using Project Life app. So easy and simple. I just let the photos do the talking.
