Naked 2 Eyeshadow by Urban Decay // the review

I bought Naked 2 Eye shadow by Urban Decay some time in April. I was so obsess with the color after I watched most of the beauty gurus on youtubes wore them.

I have never own these range of color before. I used to buy drug store eye shadow with multiple colors and lost of pink and purple. Price wise it’s a bit expensive about RM170 something at Sephora. It has 12 shades of neutral color
Foxy - is a pale yellowed beige with a matte finish
Half Baked - is a coppery brown with a golden shimmer-sheen
Bootycall -is a peach-tinted white-beige with a frosted finish
Chopper - is a coppery brown with a golden shimmer-sheen. My favorite colorTease – is dirty mauve-brown with a matte finish. Love this shade
Snakebite - is dirty mauve-brown with a matte finish
Suspect - is a soft champagne-bronze with a frosted, metallic sheen.
Pistol - is a dirty grey-brown with a frosted finish
Verve - is a pale beige-grey with a pink tinge. Love this shade too
YDK - is a warm, coppery red-toned medium brown with a frosted finish.
Busted - is a burgundy-tinted, deep brown with warm, golden undertones.
Blackout - is a really intense, deep dark black with a matte finish.

It is definitely a challenge to wear this eye shadow just because I am used to wearing color eye shadow.
After playing around with the color for a few weeks, I decided that I really like this eye shadow palette. You can create many look with it especially the smoky eye look. I have tried that yet. I just go for the lighter version of it.
For this looked, I used Tease, Verve, Suspect, Busted, Blackout and Foxy

17 years later..,

Life is full with many hope and dreams. Some of them come true and some of them don't. We learn a lot as an individual and as a couple.
It has been a very long and challenging journey for us. We have been together since 1991, before we have nothing and still learning about who we are. That is a really long time to be with one person.


We grew up together, have our first adventure together and become parents for the first time together.


Now, 17 years later we have become parents, business owner, home owner and many more. May Allah bless us and our lives together.

10 things dropbox

I have been using dropbox for over a year now. At first I don’t really know what to do with only 2.0GB of space. Back then I had a slow internet connection and the only time I use dropbox is when I am in front of a pc at home and in the office.

Then when I have an iphone and an ipad, I am starting to see the benefit of having a dropbox, a.k.a usb drive on the go. You can have all your important files with you all the time. Now I am finally thinking maybe I might need more storage.

Here are my top 10 things I used or might use my dropbox for

#1. I don’t send attachment emails to myself anymore. If I have a certain documents I wanted to read later at home, I just put it in my dropbox folder. I will have a copy of the documents in every of my devices.

#2. Share folders with my family. I don’t email photos and documents anymore to my family. I just share a folder with them and they can access the related files anytime, anywhere.

#3. Camera Upload. This is a nice feature to have for your phone especially. If you enabled this feature, you will get 3.0GB extra. Since I have tons of photos I disabled the automatic feature just because I have reached my limits.

#4. Link third party apps to dropbox llike TinyScan and To Do. This way I can have the same content in my iphone and my ipad

#5. Download files from your iphone or ipad by using ‘Open in Dropbox’ feature. This way I can immediately download content to my dropbox and have them available to me from my laptop.

#6. Backup all my contents

#7. Save all my zip files unopen for future reference

#8. Photo galleries that I can share with my friends and family. I really love flickr as a place to upload my photos but with all the changes they made to flickr I am not sure if I want to continue.

#9. A Collaboration space when working with my team. It’s easy and fun to share a team content in a cloud. This way no one can say they forget to bring files or documents in a meeting. It is available to them anywhere they go.

#10. Store all my digital media especially music and videos.

It's time for another 30 things my kids should know about me segment. This week I choose this prompt.a happy prompt. Given the current haze issue in Malaysia right now, taking stock of the things that makes you happy is really important.

5 things that makes you most happy right now

#1. Spending time with my family. Being close to your family at the time of crises is really important. It gives you a sense of security and comfort knowing that the one you loves is close by.

#2. Fast internet connection. It’s really made my day to be able to download all my favorite TV shows, browse my favorite blogs and watch my favorite youtube channel without any delay

#3. Hip Hop Abs workout. This is currently the best workout video that I really enjoy. I might see the light of at least a flat tummy in the making. 

#4. iphone 5 . My loyal companion. I just can’t leave the house without it.

fun at the park

I do believe that I have never brought Hanif to the park. This is definitely his first adventure.


I am hoping that he would be excited and started to walk but he immediately get back on his table top position and crawl.


He doesn't seems to be in a rush to walk.


I don't really want to rush him. I just love him the way he is. Cute, adorable and can't seem to stop talking and biting. Ouch!


I didn't even realize that I can jog while pushing his stroller. It' s such a plesant surprise.


Hazirah finally got her first pink bike! At last she can ride a bike after a lesson from her friend.

forty two

Today I celebrate my forty two birthday. I am so thankful and grateful that I got a chance to celebrate it with someone special. It feel surreal. Life that I thought would never happen, is happening.

At forty one I made a g-lists for my birthday and that really kept me going. I decided to continue making this tradition and kept a g-lists at my forty two my birthday.

I am thankful that…
* I am still alive to celebrate my 42 birthday with someone special
* I have my health
* I have a beautiful family with me
* I have one of the fastest internet connection currently in Malaysia
* I still have the opportunity to watch my children grow up
* growing old, hopefully much wiser
* I can take the day off to chill out
* my parents are still here to wish me happy birthday
* I can still smile and be happy with what I have
* I have the energy to exercise, feel good and look good
* I have iphone 5 to amuse me and keep me entertain all the time

10 things at 41 // the happy list

Today is the last day I will be 41. Tomorrow whether I like it or not, I will be 42 years of age. Some people say age is just a number and some people are obsess with number.

Last year I made a 10 things I am happy at 41, and today almost a year later I am making the same list.

#1. Hip Hop Abs workouts – These workout series has become my instant favorite

#2. I love my new Blu Ray player. It can detect up to 1TB Hard Disk

#3. Dropbox cloud storage. I love the idea of having a thumb drive on the go.  I wish they have a cheaper price plan for people like me.

#4. Love a toddler in the house. My baby is totally become more and more mobile. Keeping up with him has been a challenge.

#5. I am still taking Herbalife Protein shake. It does help me to control my hunger

#6. Evernote. Love love love it. Can’t get enough of it.

#8. New car seat for Hanif. Finally he is loving a big boy car seat. It’s higher than the before and it’s comfortable.

Counting down to June 21…. I am a little bit nervous reaching 42 just because in 8 years I’ll be 50. That is kinda scary.

Hanif the first twelve months photobook

I have been a fan of Photobook Malaysia since two years ago. I just love creating and making a photo book for my photos and digital scrapbook. It’ so much easier compare to having you photos print on a 4R photo paper and arrange them in a conventional album.

So to celebrate my son first year birthday, I decided to make a photo book using all the layouts I made for Project Life and some added photos taken during his birthday month.

I purchased the 80% discount coupon last year worth RM800 for only RM 250.
