Welcome to the last day of lists of 30 days of lists challenge. It has been an interesting journey for me. I will definitely join this challenge again in the future. Other than the fun of making lists and reading other listers lists, this challenge gave me the push I need to blog and capture a snapshot of my life a little bit every day.

4 layouts

I was spending a few hours yesterday, doing some ‘window shopping’ on the net and I put a few kits into my wish lists. At the end I decided to buy two of the kits from Scraporchard. Since I haven’t make any digital layouts in a while , I decided to make two layouts for each kit I bought.
I like to challenge myself just to see if I can.

At the end of the day, I’ve managed to make four layouts. All photos are from my family white studio photo session.

What's in my wish lists

I’ve missed scrapbooking and I missed shopping for scrapbooking supply. So this weekend I plan to do some shopping and scrapbooking. I love to shop at Scrapbookgraphics, Scraporchard, Sweet Shoppe Designs and the Lilypad. These are usually the four stores I went on a weekly basis to check out new kits and to be inspire.

Here are a few kits that immediately went into my wish lists.

#30lists // 28. Little joys in my life

Friday is always my favorite day of the week. I hope that September has bring you a lot of joy and happiness.
As for me, the little joys in life right now would be:

• watching my baby smile
• wake up every morning and glad that I am alive
• Leverage TV show
• internet connection
• clean water to drink
• hugs and kiss my children
• pink color
• ipad

#30lists // 27. Bravest things I’ve ever done

Happy Thursday! September is almost over and so does the 30 days of lists. I know I am going to miss this challenge and I am already looking forward to the next season.
Todays list is about taking stock of the bravest thing that you’ve ever done:

• giving birth for four times ( I do remember the first time I gave birth to my son, I said that was the last time. Now fifteen years later I gave birth to my forth child)
• embark in this journey called motherhood. (It was scary and exciting at the same time)
• talking to people I don’t know
• taking three months unpaid maternity leave

Tutorial // basic clipping mask

Last week I made a Project Life page where I include one photo into more than one rectangle. You asked me how I do it and today I would love to share this simple technique using clipping mask tool in Adobe Photosop. It is a very useful tool especially when you play with templates.

Today I will share with you how I made the above effect.

#1. Have a template with ready with six squares of rectangles all line up the way you want to photo to look like. I have a freebie that you can play with.

#2. Open an image that you want to work with

#3. Drag the image at the top layer of your template and resize the image to your liking.

#4. Then copy the image six times and drag each images on top of the squares or rectangles.

#5. When you have all the images at the right place, click on each image, right click and choose Create Clipping Mask. Repeat until you get an image that looks like below.

I know it’s cool right! I love playing with Adobe Photoshop tools , so many creative ways to do things and make something pretty.

Hanif // 5 months

Some random things about him

• rolling over has become so easy for him
• he is already moving around when he is on his tummy
• he smiles back when I smile
• he loves sucking his five fingers
• he still sleeps well when swaddle. Right now I am trying to wean him from swaddle by releasing one hand
• he can hold on to his toy longer
• he loves playing with fabric
• laugh out loud when we kiss his ears or neck
• he still resist taking milk in a bottle but I hope he will warm up to the idea by the time I have to work
• he is already outgrow his 0-6 months outfit

#30lists // 26. Trend I cannot stand

I don’t really have that many trends that I don’t like but there are a few that I can live without:

• they way younger generation change the spelling of some words ( for speedy communication that I just can’t understand them)
• some trending on twitter that doesn’t make sense to me
• location enabled on mobile devices. I just don’t like them

Week Twenty
Date: September 14 – September 20, 2012

You are getting bigger each day. Twenty weeks ago, you were a new born and now you can roll over, have likes and dislikes , response to my voice and really play well with others. I love you dearly. I can’t imagine my life without you.
