Day # 91 // 366

Just finished watching "I don't know how she does it" movie starring Sarah Jessica Parker. Watching Kate juggle her work and her family is really exhausting. Being a working mother is really tough especially when you are working in a man's world.

Life Captured: March

Another great monthly kit by Pixelily Designs called Life Captured: March. This kit is currently 25% off at Me So Scrappy.

I  had such a fun March and I am so glad that tomorrow is April. Somehow in my world, time seems to move a little bit slower.

Have a great and creative weekend!

AI2012// Top 9 Performance

All I can say is WOW! What an amazing night. I think never before in Idol history, all contestant were doing so great and I like all the performances.

Base on tonight performance, these are my favourites

Joshua – he sang beautifully every week.

Jessica – I always looking forward to hear her sing. Such a beautiful voice

Phillip – very artistic and always bring something different to the table

Colton – I like the tender side of him this week. So sweet and open.

In my opinion, the bottom three would be Heejun, DeAndre and Hollie. They were great last night but they were not consistent from the beginning. I like Hollie but I feel like she is doing the same thing every week. And after I watch Jessica, Joshua and Elise, I kinda forgot about her performance.

Day # 89 // 366

So beautifully created by my son. I wish I could make art like that.

Challenges and what to expect

Being 40 and pregnant isn’t an easy position to be. You might look younger on this outside but on the inside you are not as when you were in your 20’s.

Your body will definitely speak louder and less forgiving. Challenges that I have to face this week would be…

1) Walking or moving around the house or in the office is definitely the biggest challenge I have to face this week. Other than feeling painful, I also felt like I am dragging my feet.

2) Shortness of breath. Talking, walking, doing housework really has become a big deal to me. I just can’t do things as fast as I used to do. Everything has to be in slow motion.

3)  Solah is also one of the challenges I have to overcome. I have to opt for sitting on a chair so that I can recite all the surah in a slower pace and not feeling too tired and  painful at my lower abdomen

4) Staying awake after 11 pm is also something I rarely do now.

5) Surviving working hours. I just can’t work straight for 9 hours without any lunch break or nap time break. I just can’t stand the stress and the pain in my lower back.

My visit to the doctor today got me thinking about my delivery option. Never before have I consider anything other than normal delivery. Given my current condition, a C-section might be a safe option. I just have to prepare myself, mentally, spiritually and physically for what ever the situation is. May Allah guide me and gives me strength to face this, the most beautiful and miracle experience ever!

Day # 85 // 366

Suddenly I felt like watching an old movie... The Bodyguard starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston.

The last time I watched this movie was when I was studying in the states. I watched this with my husband. It does brings a lot of beautiful memories....

Art Journal, Challenge 41 and 34 weeks

Sometimes I just wonder what I am doing and  how suddenly I am in a life that I’ve never dream of.

This week I decided to do Challenge 41, it’s all about  scribbles. I used Capture Life:February Kit and Capture Life: March elements by Tracie Stroud.

34 Weeks

“Your Baby in Week 34 of Pregnancy

What's new this week? Your baby is clocking in at five pounds and could be as tall as 20 inches by now, and the vernix (the white coating protecting your baby’s skin) is getting thicker. This week, a boy's testicles start making their way down from his abdomen to their final destination: his scrotum (look out below!). While about three to four percent of boys are born with undescended testicles, it's nothing to worry about — they usually head downtown before junior turns a year old. In other baby-related developments, those tiny fingernails have probably reached the tips of his fingers by now — and getting ready for that first postpartum manicure. “ source what to expect when you are expecting.

What’s in my shopping bag?

It’s such a lovely Saturday right here. Not too hot at the moment. I am ready to enjoy my morning Saturday doing things I love. And online shopping is one of my favourite things. At the moment I only shop for things I can download immediately and when I have the patient, I will shop for books at

Today I am feeling inspire and I wanted to scrap with new kit. I like shopping at Scraporchard  during weekend cause I can get new kit at 20% off. Here are what I bought.

Day # 82 // 366

Such a hectic and complicated day for me.

I ended with others unfinished business and stuck in the middle of it.

I just wish some people will do their job instead of just saying the willingness to help out but not really do anything.

Day # 81 // 366

What a nice treat in the afternoon. This time I came here with my eldest son. After having a late lunch, we came to Tutti Frutti and enjoy the coolnest, sweet and sour taste in our mouth.

This is not something that I will indulge on a regular basis cause I prefer thick and creamy ice cream instead of yogurt.

what a lovely day

I am taking the day off today cause I am not feeling so good lately. Moving around cause pain around my lower back and tummy.

This free time off from work, give me a little bit time to do what I like the most which is scrapping. It has been a really long time since I got the chance or the energy to do it. Scrapping was my daily escape for the last few years and I really miss it.

As always, time do run when you are having fun. The seems to be lessen when I don’t move around a lot.

These are the two layouts I cooked up using Sunshine Girl from Studio Flergs and Zoe Pearn.

Day # 80 // 366

I went for a checkup again and this time at Putrajaya Hospital. I got a mix dignosis and I am more confuse than before. I decided to stop coming back here and continue checkup with my regular doctor. I don't want to make a wrong decision.

I wasn't feeling as good as before. I decided to take today and tomorrow off from work to relax and pray that the pain I am having right now will go away with lots of rest.

On a Quest

With all the chaos, I’ve almost forgot to make a layout with the new kit from Wimpychompers Creations called On a Quest. This kit has a fairy tale feel with knight, princess and dragon.

I never thought I would survive today. I was in pain most of the time. I can't barely walk or move.

All I want to do right now is rest on my bed and enjoy the loving and nice foot massage from my son.

Day# 77 // 366

I love my Saturday. Relax and lazy mode. I have so many ideas for my blog but I just don't have the energy to execute them.

I want to do a lot of things especially things related to getting ready for the big day. I make a lot of mental notes about things to do and sometimes I get overwhelm.

Art Journal, Challenge 11 and Week 33

I am so loving the art journal e-course, teach by Elsie and Rachael of the Red Velvet. It has amazing ideas and challenges for you to try. All of the art challenges they used real materials but I am lazy to look for the real thing so I settle for digital element. Their ideas still can be used even when you are using digital elements and kits.

I used Memories Captured Kit by Studio Flergs for this week challenge.

I feel a little bit weird this week. Other than  fatigue as my company, I also have worries and anxiety on my  side. I just can’t wait to take an early leave from work. I am so ready for a long rest.

“Your Baby in Week 33 of Pregnancy

Your baby is still gaining weight (about half a pound a week), and she could grow up to another full inch this week. With that much baby inside your uterus, your amniotic-fluid level has maxed out, which explains why some of her pokes and kicks feel pretty sharp these days. (There's less fluid to cushion the blows.) Antibodies are being passed from you to your little one as she continues to develop her own fetal immune system, which will come in handy once she's outside the womb and fending off all sorts of germs.” source what to expect when you are expecting.

Your Body in Week 33 of Pregnancy

With midnight bathroom runs, leg cramps, heartburn, and your basketball-sized belly, it's no wonder sleep is elusive.Third-trimester insomnia strikes about three-quarters of pregnant women (who may also be coping with a mind that races all night long thinking about your to-do-before-the-baby-comes list). But your body needs rest, so do your best to get comfy — before bed and when you get in it. Grab a pile of pillows, wedge them where you need to, and look on the bright side: Pregnancy insomnia is great training for those sleepless nights to come!” source what to expect when you are expecting.

Day # 76 // 366 and Idol elimination

So far I am loving this season contestants. Base on last night performance I 've become a fan of Joshua, Holly and Skylar.
Today, America voted off Shannon from the competition. I don't dislike Shannon, but I think she's a bit forgetable and really lack experience. I think if she works hard and overcome her weakness, she can go far.

Friday Scraplift

I am so happy that today is Friday. In a few minutes, I get to go home and start to enjoy my weekend with my children. I am so tired and exhausted, working and pregnant at my age isn't as easy as I thought. So many challenges and too may worries.
I decided to take a few minutes break and unwind by making a layout using Memories Captured by Studio Flerg and scraplift one of her layout.

And this is my lift

Day # 75 // 366

I am 8 months already. Right now I am reading the eight month chapter from what to expect when you are expecting. I am a little nervous with the whole position thing.

At the moment this book is my reference. It would be nice to have someone to talk to about my worries. Well life isn't perfect right.
You can only do the best that you can with what you have. Nothing more nothing less.
I really have to be strong for the baby. It's hard but I have to survive and shine through.
