day 365 Project 365 and final gathering for 2010

Hooray!! today is the last day of 2010 and it's day 365! I just can't believe it, I did it, I did it!!! One whole year of taking photo every day. I’m not really sure if I would do this next year, may be something different or just doing 52 weeks project. I like doing things that seems impossible to accomplish.

I am really rushing for time today. So many things happening to me today and I just don’t know where to begin. I don’t think I will have time to blog later tonight because I have already got plan. This is my last entry for 2010.

random facts :
* I meet joe and the geng for bowling at Cosmic Bowl this morning. I have never play there before. There was the 5 of us playing- Joe, Ery, Hazim, Hazwan and me. Guess what? I won I won!! I beat Joe.. (130 – 111) I just can’t believe that the last game I got three stikes… never in history that this ever happened to me..

* I bought a new book today – The Family Way by Tony Parson

* I ate at Carls Jr for the first time and I’m sure I like it

* I spend almost a hundred on toys for the kids

* I just didn’t have enough time in the day to finish reading eat.pray.love.. I really have to finish this book before the week end

I never really thought of camera phone as a camera before. Every since I got one I’ve been snapping photos with it all the time. They are not really great photos but it was a piece of my life that I captured at that moment. These are some random photos I took with my phone.. I know I know.. I changed phone way too often than I should have. In my defense sony always come out with amazingly great phones. How can I resist?

day 364 Project 365 and some random stuffs

Yeah ...I can't believe I go through with this project. It's really has been a struggle to get in the habit of taking photos and documenting about it on my blog. I bought this magazine today. I seldom buy Cleo because it’s a bit too young for me. I just love this photo of Blake Lively. She looks great – fresh, young and vibrant.

* I am watching Frozen at this moment
* I’ve got like 5 DVD movies to watch
* I only got one layout done today. Totally not my plan.
* I watched Grey’s Anatomy’s latest season today. Wow! the emotional baggage and emotional scars in the show really intense
* I am thinking about checking out foursquare
* tomorrow is a public holiday here in Malaysia. Yeah for the holiday!

day 363 Project 365

Erkkk!! Just two more days left! I just can’t believe it, I can really see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Today I decided to ware my new white shoes. It's a bit higher than I used to but I managed. This is my first shoe of this brand – eclipse—I might check this store for more new style this new year. Maybe I’ll be obsessing with shoes and outfit in 2011. That will be interesting.

this one is mine. I love this photo because it’s one of a classic photo taken by hemm I’m not really sure who took this photo. There’s a three generation of woman in this photo – my grandmother, my mother and me -

I never knew my grandmother. All I have of her was stories told by my mom and these old photos. She passed away when I was a little girl. My mom told me she went for Hajj (during that time it was by ship and it took about 6 months) and  she never came back. Her body was buried at Mekkah. Al-Fatihah to my late grandmother.

Wednesday Outfit: another Batik Crepe

Today I am wearing a pink and apple green Batik Crepe. I know it's not Thursday, but I feel like wearing Batik.
I decided to make this outfit more green so I wear green shawl. Everybody at the office mention about my new green baju kebaya. They don't even see the pink!





Oh boy! I still look tired and unhappy. I hate looking like this. It's not healthy and it's not me. I don't recognize that girl.

day 362 Project 365

I’ve almost forgot to post Tuesday day 362: 365 project because I was so wrapped up in eat.pray.love book. I am determine to finish the book before day 365. It’s only 4 days left! Wish me luck!

Project Restyle–a beautiful mess way

I just love the idea of creating something beautiful out of damaged, unwanted or unusable goods for your fashion, home decor and pretty things. It’s a neat and great idea to support go green. I’m not really sure if I am that creative. I’ll probably copy their ideas and try to make them my own. This will definitely one of the project I am willing to try in 2011.

Some of the guideline stated are as follows:

1. You must use unwanted, damaged or unusable vintage or used items to ReStyle. One of the big purposes of the group is that it encourages green living and is budget friendly. You can use items from your own closet/attic that you no longer love, thrifted finds or hand-me-downs.

10 things: TV Show I enjoy

These are all the TV Shows I really enjoy watching this year. Some of them are new to me and some of them are my all time favorite. I like watching people and I like stories. So these TV shows give me both. And it also keep me and my mind occupied from thinking about negative thoughts and calms me.

#1) The Vampire Diaries

- I just got into this show this year. I am glad that by the time I’ve finished with season one, I got to watch season two.  Love the history and rich characters in this show.

#2) Kimora Life in the Fab Lane

I love watching this show. There’s something about her that is so inspiring and entertaining at the same time.

#3) Parenthood

- I love Lauren Graham, I really miss seeing her on TV. So naturally I would give this show a try and I was pleasantly surprise. It is entertaining, heart warming and really showcase the dynamic and the difficulty of being a parent.

#4) Life Unexpected

- I haven’t really watch any Shiri Appleby movie or tv show since Roswell. So I was really curious to see the grown up Shiri. I am glad I did. The show has a certain appeal that got me hook. The complication of human relationship can really turn your world upside down.

#5) Bones


- I am a bit disappointed when they gave Booth a girlfriend. Other than that the show is great as always.

#6) Smallville

- I’ve been waiting for Clark and Lois together since they first introduce Lois in season 3. Finally the final season I got to see both of them together.

#7) True Blood

- the third season of this show had too much blood in it. Finally Sookie get rid of Billy. I can’t wait for the new season to start next year

#8) Supernatural

- I’ve been out of the loop from watching this show since season 4. I am so glad that I have managed the time to catch up with season 5 and season 6.

#9) Glee


- love this show just because I love music and I love dance

#10) America’s Next Top Model

- this is a surprise for me. I’ve never really watch this show before but every since cycle 13 I’m hook. There’s something about people, emotions and human relationship that fascinate me. There’s a lot of life lesson can be learn here. Watching beautiful people struggle is also a plus.. hehehe…

Tuesday Outfit: Pink Batik Crepe with a touch of blue

Today I am wearing my new “baju kebaya” modern dress made out of batik Crepe Terengganu. I really like the design of this batik. It’s different than any other design and it’s one of a kind. The color combination of pink, blue, yellow, green, brown and white really makes this outfit versatile. Today I am wearing this outfit with pink shawl. I can also wear this outfit with light blue shawl and the look and feel will be different.

“Malaysian Batik is batik textile art of Malaysia, especially on the east coast of Malaysia (Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang). The most popular motifs are leaves and flowers.
