Sweat Party Part II // CONNECT with MYSELF

I didn't have anything planned this weekend. What better ways to fill productive other than workout the whole morning. I didn't do any workout yesterday because I was not feeling so good. I am glad that I took the day of because this morning I feel like I can do anything.

So I decided to repeat my Sweat Party at home. My goal is to do at least five workouts back to back and see how far I can go. I am really nervous to do Insanity Max 30 Friday Fight Round 1 because I know how gruesome the workout is going to be. So I decided to start with something simple and fun like Country Heat.

Workout One



I started the party with Country Heat Down and Dirty for about 28 minutes. This routine is so much fun that my brain did not registered it as working out. I still burned a good amount of calories which is 120. 


Workout Two



Now it's time for Insanity Max 30. Since I skipped this workout yesterday, I had to push play and get it over with. I did  Insanity Max 30 - Friday Fight Round 1 for 30 minutes. This workout really really left me breathless and makes me want to scream at Shaun T. I maxed out at 8:28. I burned total of 358 calories at the end of the workout.  I have to remind myself not to stop when you are tired, stop when you are done. I took a few minutes break before moving to the next workout.


Workout Three



I decided to do  Master's Chisel - Power Chisel. I love watching these two working out. This is not a very hard weight lifting program but I still burned a good amount of calories about 528 calories at the end of 30 minutes.



Workout Four



Then I decided to do Country Heat again - Trail Ride. I am totally obsessed with Country Heat. It is such a fun workout and I just can't stop thinking about it. This one lasted me about 30 minutes and I burned a few calories to a total of 654.


Workout Five


Now it's time for some core workout. I decided to do 21 day fix Flat Abs Fix  workout for my abs. 30 minutes of abs workout makes me burned about 117 calories and I reached a total of 771 calories burned. 


I love the feeling I got after a great workout. I can feel my heartbeat beating fast and I was sweating all over. I can't believe that by 6:00 pm my total burned has reached 2004 calories. This is not a number I can get to easily. This makes me feel good all over. I am not sure if I will loose any weights but right now I am focusing more on how I feel. And I feel great!

  • Abs workout at least four times a week

  • school holidays... hemmmm where will we go?

What is progress? Fit2017 Check In

I am listening to this month 's Fit2017 monthly message. It's always inspiring listening to Cathy talked about fitness and attitude. This class is more about document your fitness journey and tune in your attitude towards improving your health. 

I totally need this. I have been so discourage with my progress lately. Nothing seems to work. Maybe I am getting older, maybe I need to tweak a little bit, surprised my body and let it work harder than usual. The thing about your body, it will adjust to what ever resistant you put your body through. That is why you cannot do the same workout over and over again.

My plan for this month is to:
- Do Insanity Max 30 program for two months
- Learn to eat better
- Once a week challenge my heart and body to two hours of intense workout
- don't stop drinking three litter or water daily
- I might stop focusing on steps count and focus more on hitting at least 40 minutes of intense workout a day. 
- Do 10 minutes hardcore workout at least four times a week 
- Focus more on non scale victory, celebrate it and not worry too much about the scale
- buy at least one new clothes this month which is one size smaller than last month

February was such a weird month in Malaysia. It seems like the raining season is here to stay. I am not able to run in the evening because it kept raining. So the only option that I have is to do my running in the morning or try to get 5km of workout at home by doing country heat and T25. I don't have any treadmill at home. I am don't really like using machine for my workout. It feels a bit restricted and I get bored easily. Finding activities that you enjoy doing is the key to be consistent. Fitness is never a destination , it's a journey. Taking care of your health and body should be a priority. 

I am having so much fun documenting my progress in my Fit2017 digital journal. It's easy and it's fun. So for March I will continue documenting my progress in this digital journal. 






Day 60:365 // Insanity Max 30

I decided to start doing Insanity Max 30 this March. I totally forgot how hard this workout was. After doing 21 day fix for months, my heart is having trouble adjusting to Insanity Max 30 gruesome workout moves. Today I did Sweat Intervals and I can't finished the whole workout.

Day 59:365 // time well spend

I was so tired after thirty minutes of Insanity Max 30 that the last thing I wanted to do was cooked dinner. So we decided to eat out at IOI City Mall.

Goodnotes Notebook Cover

Last weekend I didn't have anything special planned. I spend my day at home working out like crazy and play with Adobe Photoshop. I made these covers for my Goodnotes notebooks. I have a lot of digital scrapbook papers in my collection that I decided to choose some of them for these covers. Just a simple cover to lighten up my day.

What a fun day! Even though it's Monday we had a lot of fun with meetings and more meetings. Today marked the final day for BTM Committee 2015/2017 and the new appointed committee 2017/2018 effectively elected.

I am suddenly obsessed with making a custom covers for my iPlanner, Notebooks and Journals. I really like how this look. I made these covers with digital scrapbook papers in my collection on Adobe Photoshop.

Day 56:365 // Legos

This is what happened to my baby legos after he made cars, castles and town. He likes to take them apart and not able to assembled it back again.
