Day 14:365

I have not seen this boy for two days and I really missed him. I just can't get enough of his hugs and kisses. I love the way he looks at me like I am the most important person in the world for him. I just want to hold on to this feeling as long as I can. Once he discovered that the world is bigger than just me, he might want to fly away and spread his 'wings'.

I am a bit hungry today πŸ˜‹ and I decided to eat KFC breakfast menu. I can't believe that this two item cost me RM10:30. The price of food today -- 12 January 2017 --
I decided to enjoy Thursday morning eating breakfast and reading a book with my kindle.

Day 10 - Day 11 : 365

I was heartbroken yesterday that cause me to not be able to eat or do anything else including blogging.
I really have to dig deep to find the things to be thankful for that day. It's easier to find things to be thankful for when your life flow smoothly. It is definitely harder to find things to be thankful for when you have a bad day. Doing Project 365 really helps me to see the world more clearly and be really thankful for for the little things.

All I can do is smile // PL App

I have been in a scrapbook slump for a while now. I just don't feel it. So I decided to take two months off from scrapbooking. It feel so good not being pressure to make any layouts. I know that no matter how long I stop scrapbooking I am able to catch up with Project Life app. So for two months I decided to live my life and not worry too much about what photos I want to scrapbook.

Now in 2017 I am feeling refresh. I have so much energy and all I want to do is scrap with Project Life app. I still have a few layouts I wanted to make for 2016 but I am not that worry.

Day 08:365

It's Sunday and I am at the last day of week one with Master's Chisel. I thought that Chisel Balance is going to be an easy workout. I was wrong! I think this is the toughest workout ever! And it burned a lot of calories in less than 60 minutes.

Hike this: Mount Angsi, Kuala Pilah

Mount: Mount Angsi
Heights: 824 meters
Facts: "Gunung Angsi is one of Malaysia's relatively minor mountains with a height of 2702ft or 824m. It ranks 241st on my list of Malaysia's highest mountains and it is the 3rd highest peak in Negeri Sembilan state, after Gunung Datuk and Bukit Bintongan which are both slightly higher. Gunung Angsi is only an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur being located in Ulu Bendul Recreational Park, about 20 km from Seremban, the state capital of Negeri Sembilan.
The mountain's relative proximity to KL makes it a popular hiking spot. Ulu Bendul Recreational Park itself has clear streams, shady picnic and BBQ sites and gets crowded with families especially at weekends.
Climbing Gunung Angsi takes most people up to 3 hours to go up and somewhat less coming down making it a do-able half day excursion.
You need to register at the park ranger's office before starting your ascent and pay a nominal fee (RM 5 per person). Arrive early as they might not let you start the climb if you arrive after 11am." excerpt from malaysia-traveller

We woke up early to drive to R&R Berenang to meet with some friends before heading out to Kuala Pilah. I have never been to Kuala Pilah or Mount Angsi before so I have no idea what to expect.

We arrived at Bukit Putus around 7:30am. We were told that a trail from here is a bit steep at first but will get easier after one hour. This is the shortest and easiest trail to Angsi Summit with the estimation of two hours hike.

This trail starts with a bang! - Stairs and steep hill that we have to hike for about one hour or more depends on your pace. A really good hiking shoes is a must to protect your feet.

I am among experienced hikers. I like hiking with them because I am a competitor by nature, what better ways to push myself other than compete with the expert.

I have choose CONNECT as my one little word for 2017, so this photo was taken with CONNECT in mind. What better ways to connect with nature other than watching this spectacular view from a higher group and really feel how small we are.
Taking lots of photos on the way up is must because when you start to hike down you will not see the same thing. The view from the way up is totally different from the view on the way down even though you walk on the same trail.
Posing at the mark - 18 min. to the summit, which excite me because at first I thought it said 18 miles .... heheheh

At the end before we started to walk back, we took this group photos of NRE Hiking Team. I think we should have our own log and trademark. It looks like there will be many more trip like this in the future. And I should think of investing in a few hiking gear that can help me during the hike.

My thoughts:
This is a good trail to start for those who wants to see if they enjoy hiking. It has a little bit of every thing and will give you a general idea of how fit you are. It's not too tough for a beginner and challenging enough for experience hiker who wants to warm up for a big event.

I burned about 2500 calories, walked 12.88 kilo meters, 192 floors and 19,691 steps, from hiking a lone. These numbers are the reason why I join hiking trip because I am not an outdoor person but I am determine to be fit and if possible loosing some weights.
