#thursday3 πŸ’• [6.10.2016]

It's the first Thursday in October and the beautiful thing about today is the date 6102106.

1. I bought a new Fitbit Charge 2 just because I wanted a device that can monitor my heart rate 24/7 without worry about charging the device every single night. I am still lusting over Apple Watch series 2 which I have not idea when it will be available in Malaysia

2. I am doing Yosemite Vernal Falls challenge on fitbit for the second time this week. It took 15,000 steps to complete the challenge. I kinda obsess with this kind of challenge lately. Even though it's a solo challenge done virtually, I still enjoy doing it.

3. I am still reading In the Clearing by Robert Dugoni. I am almost finished. I really like Tracy Crosswhite character and I can't never get enough of her. I'll probably will continue reading this series.

For the fun of it I digged through my #thursday3 in October and I found the one in 2014. I guessed I've missed doing this project last year in October.
I definitely looked different in this photo. Life was so much different back then.

Think about it this way…If you take one picture and write down three facts each week — at the end of the year you’ll have more than 50 photos of yourself and 150 facts about what life has been like. It would make such an epic All About Me book — and most of the work is already done." -

The Story of Home

I was upset, sad and heartbroken when I heard the news that my dad has to vacate the house that he has been living for more than twenty years. The house that I grew up in and the house that I am proud to call my home will no longer be ours. This house holds many memories of me and my mom. The only thing that I have left that reminded me of her. Every time I am in this house I somehow can feel the presence of my mom even though when she is not around. I don't think I will ever be ready to say good bye to this house.

I have so many memories here that I don't think can be replaced with anything
  • I got married in this house
  • I feel safer here compare to any other places. The place where I can call my home and without have to worry about anything
  • This is the place where I can be a daughter.
  • All of my brothers's wedding reception were in this house
  • Where we had my farewell party before going to United States to further my studies
  • I remembered watching the stars from the garden in front of the house and dreaming about the future
  • Majority of things in this house were touched by mother. She has a way of making this house a home.
  • I am going to miss this beautiful view. This was my mom's favorite spot to relax, read a book and recite Quran
  • day232

  • We celebrate many birthdays here. My mom was into birthday celebration and family gathering
  • We gathered here, in this house every Hari Raya even though our family has grown bigger and can't fit comfortably in this house
  • Three of my kids spend the first two months of their lives in this house
  • I don't think I can list down every single memories without crying.

I am not sure when is the exact date that my dad has to move out but it's happening soon. My day already start to pack and looking for a new house to stay. I know I don't have any say in this because we don't really owned the property but I never thought that it will happen during my life time.

Hike this: Broga Hill 2016

It has been three years since the last time I went to Broga Hill. It has been a dream of mine to go here with the whole family. Alhamdulillah today I had the chance to fulfil my dream.

We started the day a little bit late. Our mission is not to see the sunrise but to do activity as a family. We arrived at Broga Hill, Semenyih around 7:45am. The parking spot was almost full. We have to wait a few minutes for a parking spot. A lot of people that were there during sunrise were already started to leave.

We started to climb about 8:00 am and we arrived at the top around 9:15 am. As usual it took a long time for us to reach the top due to lots of photography session.

Alhamdulillah we finished the climb around 10:20am. I really enjoyed the day. I managed to reach 8,800 steps before 11:00 am. Hopefully we can do more activity like this in the future.

I highly recommend going to Broga Hill with the family. It's the best place to be and enjoy each other company. Not too easy and not too hard either. Just right.
