Prompt #5: Daily Routine

Prompt #5: Daily Routine

I have been doing 21 day fix extreme program since May as my daily workout routine. This month I will be continuing with this program for Round 2 and probably Round 3. I am happy doing this 30 minutes program for my health and well being. I may not follow exactly the menu program but I think with fasting and with what Rasulluallah thought us during iftar and Sahur, I believe that I will see results too. (with help and guidance from Allah too of course)

10.06 // the challenge

Every morning when I wake up, my one thing that I want to achieve in a day is to achieve 10,000 steps. No matter what I will try to achieve that goal. I am obsess with it. If you know me, when I am obsess I will go all out with it.

I am not going to let fasting be a reason where I don't have to move or even climb the stairs. Fasting is not a reason to be lazy and sleep all day even though I wanted to do just that.

I am glad that I am not the only one who is crazy enough to climb the stairs untill 18th floor.

I guess it's true what they say, when you put your mind to it you can achieved it.

So this is me today doing what I enjoy doing even though I am fasting. It's still early in the morning but the temperature is almost 30 degrees Celsius. My One Little word - FOCUS really help me to push through all the negative thoughts on my mind. I just focus on taking one step at a time.

Prompt #2: Journal

Prompt #2: Journal
I have been journaling as far as I can remember. I've always have some form of a notebook or a diary for me to ramble about things and life. Now those diaries has evolved into journaling, art journal thing or something like it. This is my style at the moment and I really like to capture it. It's nice to see what I was into in 2016.

#ramadandaily album 2016

I have been doing #ramadandaily photo project for about three years now. I really enjoy capturing my life in photo daily during Ramadan. I have been printing those photos on my Canon Selphy printer and put them in my Project Life mini album. I really enjoy looking back at these photos and instant remember what that Ramadan means to me.

So this year I will be filling these album from last year and document a little bit facts about that day. I am lucky that I kept those memories in my album and also on my blog.

I am thinking about changing the journal card that say #ramadan daily 2015/2016

This is the first page on the album. Direct to the point. I usually will include my selfie. I like seeing my self evolve through out the years. I am not the kind of person who like to look the same. I like changing and reinventing my self. I like to see that I can be the best version of my self.

I like that I keep the date and the day on the photo. I need to remember to do that this year.

I straight away continue with #ramadandaily for 2016 with the same concept.

My plan for this year is to capture my Ramadan daily as it happened with the daily prompt. Print the photo if possible daily and slip them in my album. Write a few things about it on a journal card.

If I can't print daily, I have to schedule doing it alt least once a week.

What are your plan from documenting your Ramadan? Share with me I want to know.

Prompt #1 - 5 things

Happy Ramadan to all Muslim all over the world. May this year be the best Ramadan ever.
I decided to do this project again this year.

Prompt #1: 5 things

This month I decided to use my Erin Condren planner again after ditching it for about two months. I missed capturing life in little pieces in this planner. So the month I intend to fill this planner about Ramadan and photos taken during Ramadan. Erin Condren will always be the fun planner aka memory keeping for me. I am going to use my iphone as my alarm clock to wake up for Sahur. My iPad Pro 9.7" and apple pencil as my digital planner. The iPad will also be my portable Quran. This is where I plan my future planning and action lists. And my new Micheal Kors Wirst watch will the watch during Ramadan.

Photo daily // Ramadan 2016

Tomorrow all Muslim all over the world is celebrating the month of Ramadan. It's a fasting month, it's month to up your worship to Allah, it's the month of forgiveness and it's the month to practice patient. I have no idea how this month has people obsess with food. It's food everywhere. Maybe this is just a Malaysian thing?

I decided that this month I am not going to get suck into all about food mentality. I want this month to be all about Allah, all about Quran and all about reaching within myself and be the best muslim I can be.

What better way to document this journey other than capture it on camera. Every year is different, every year feel different.
I've made this simple poster which can be carry around on my phone. I want to remember to capture my Ramadan daily and record it. Nobody knows when is their last Ramadan. So treat this Ramadan as if it's your last.

These are the lists of photography prompts for this year:
