Eid wishes in a journal

Ever since I get obsessed with doodling and journaling in the last few weeks, I decided to do something different this Syawal. Instead of waiting for Eid Cards and wishes from people you love, I decided to bring the journal to them. They can write or draw anything they want in this journal.

At this point of time, people seem to have forgotten about the art of penmanship. Write for the sake of writing, making things personal and the art personal touch has lost it's niche. I intend to bring them back- write for the sake of write, creating something on a blank paper with a pen/pencil.

I am so wanting to create something special this Eid, so the Memori Aidilfitri 2015 was born.

I used this pink notebook (urghh it look purple on photo) that I have been keeping since January as the home of this year Eid wishes. I gave them a black pen and let them do what ever they want with the page.

After that I added a few photos and doodling to make it more meaningful and prettier.

I never knew that my nice can draw and she loves to draw

If they said that they can't draw and don't know what to write, I just asked them to sign their name and I will add photos later.

My nephew is brilliant in linguistic. He writes this pantun spontaneously in less than 10 minutes.

Oh boy! I totally forgot that my husband knows how to draw. It's one little detail that skip my mind after all these years. Gosh technology did killed our ability to create and draw with pen and paper. I think I have not seen my husband draw since back in 1991 - the time when we were a young adult and still learning about one another.

This journal still has many empty pages. I intend to extend this journal to my friends and colleague. It's about time I discover their hidden talents. I intend to fill out this pages, if not the whole journal at least 80% of the pages.

This is definitely one of a fun project for memory keeping I have ever tried. It definitely bring back a lot of beautiful memories from my childhood. Anybody here remember Autograph book ?? You will be surprise by what you learn about people a long the way.
I just found out that my mother in law knows how to 'pantun' (Malay poetic form of oral expression). I never knew that about her before.

Maybe I will do a flip though when I am finished with this project. Hopefully I can filled up the book before the end of Syawal (around 17 August 2015).

Catching up on all things Terminator related

Ever since I watched Terminator Genisys last Tuesday, all I want to do was watched all things related to Terminator series. So far I have watched Terminator, Terminator Judgment Day and currently I am watching Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles TV Series.

I can't believe that the first Terminator movie was way back in 1984. I am not sure where I watched the movie but I don't think it was at the cinema.

After all these years, I was totally surprised that I still enjoyed this movie. I still think that it's one of a kind and way advanced for it's time.

Terminator: Judgement Day-> The second movie of Terminator series. I like this one the best. I still remembered the first time I watched this movie on a big screen and I totally enjoyed it so much. I think I've watched this movie closer to ten times since it was released in 1991.
Back then I want to be like Linda Hamilton, a woman with a mission and she is one tough lady.

And then I remember that there was a TV series way back in 2008. --> Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

I like the fact that this TV series pick up where Judgement Day left off. I really like Lena Heady as Sarah Connor. Too bad the show lasted for Two seasons only. So far I have re-watched the show up till episode 3 of season 1.

I highly recommend this TV series if you are a die hard fan of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. This show really explain why Judgment Day still happened {even though it happened  on different year than beforeafter they destroyed the chip and all things related to Skynet.

I am so looking forward to my weekend to continue watching the rest of the episodes and probably watching Terminator 3 again.

Project 365 // Week 29

Hello my lovely readers. I am a little bit late posting about my Project 365 for week 29 due to 'balik kampung' mode and Eid celebration.

HERE IS MY WEEK IN PHOTOS

DAY 194- I didn't take any photos today except this gold watch for my #ramadandaily photo challenge.
Day 194

DAY 195- On Tuesday I was not in the mood for doing anything else except catching up on A Faint Cold Fear book.
Day 195

DAY 196- The last day of work for me. The traffic was a bit light and I was definitely not in the mood for work. All I can think about was my unfinished packing.

Day 196

DAY 197- Today is the last day of fasting and the last day of Ramadan. Hazim and I made this banner and we printed it at our hometown.
Day 197

DAY 198- First day of Eid celebrated at Bukit Batu. Apparently blue is the choice of color for 2015.

Day 198

DAY 199- The second day of Eid, we went to Muar to visit our extended family. Somehow the trip felt different without my mother.

Day 199

DAY 200- The third day of Eid, we went to Muar again and this time visiting our extended family from my father's side.

Day 200

TAKE A LOOKED AT MY 2014 JOURNEY HERE.

I still believe when you took the time to document the every day and the good things that happened in your life, you will be more grateful. Just saying.

Do you join Project 365 this year?
If you do linked up in the comment, I would love to
see your work and a glimpse of your life in 2015

Terminator Genisys

We just got back from a long 'hari raya' holiday with family and long lost family.
I decided to go on a date with my husband and I choose Terminator Genisys as our date night movie. As always we choose GSC IOI City Mall as the place for the night.

After the last Terminator movie I am reluctant to see another Terminator movie but when I saw the trailer and Sarah Conor is in it, I just got to see how they are going to spin this fifth installment of Terminator series.

Just walking down the isle to the cinema hall brings back a lot of memories for us. Gosh! We grew up watching Arnold Schwarzenegger became a Terminator and then evolve to become Sarah Connor/ John Connor protector.

I highly recommend this movie. It's the one that I have been waiting for. The conclusion of the long awaited ending to Skynet (at least for me) and having Sarah Connor instead of John Connor as the hero is a welcome change.
