Photo Prompt #17: Up

Challenge #17: Up

Day 17

The story of today was I went to KLCC again with my daughter. Just the two of us. We were having a girl's day out-- no boys allowed. I took this photo with my phone with the angle was from down pointing up. This is definitely not my favorite angle but it captures the upper part of KLCC which has never get captured from me before.

Finders Keeper // the review

I am so excited to be reading this book in the first place. I read Mr. Mercedes: A Novel last year and I totally enjoyed the book.

What this book is about?

"A masterful, intensely suspenseful novel about a reader whose obsession with a reclusive writer goes far too far—a book about the power of storytelling, starring the same trio of unlikely and winning heroes King introduced in Mr. Mercedes.

“Wake up, genius.” So begins King’s instantly riveting story about a vengeful reader. The genius is John Rothstein, an iconic author who created a famous character, Jimmy Gold, but who hasn’t published a book for decades. Morris Bellamy is livid, not just because Rothstein has stopped providing books, but because the nonconformist Jimmy Gold has sold out for a career in advertising. Morris kills Rothstein and empties his safe of cash, yes, but the real treasure is a trove of notebooks containing at least one more Gold novel.

Morris hides the money and the notebooks, and then he is locked away for another crime. Decades later, a boy named Pete Saubers finds the treasure, and now it is Pete and his family that Bill Hodges, Holly Gibney, and Jerome Robinson must rescue from the ever-more deranged and vengeful Morris when he’s released from prison after thirty-five years.

Not since Misery has King played with the notion of a reader whose obsession with a writer gets dangerous. Finders Keepers is spectacular, heart-pounding suspense, but it is also King writing about how literature shapes a life—for good, for bad, forever.excerpt from amazon.com

What do I think about the book?
- I think you will enjoy the book more if you have read Mr. Mercedes first.
- Half of the book talked about two very important characters - Pete and Morris Bellamy. Not a lot about Bill Hodges. I kinda hope the book was about Bill Hodges more. I guess that's not Stephen King's style.
- I am not really sure if this book is better than Mr Mercedes. I kinda like the first book better.
- Somehow I felt like reading or writing a book after reading this book. I don't know why.

I recommend this book if you like Stephen King book. It's definitely my favorites of 2015 after The Girl on the Train.

#thursday3 [02.07.2015] and Photo Prompt #15: Selfie

Hello July! Welcome to the third quarter of the year. For today's challenge I decided to use my #thursday3 photo for today photo challenge. Today was such an interesting day for me. I had so many things going that it felt like a different day.

HERE ARE MY PHOTO AND FACTS FOR THE WEEK

02072015

#1. I have finally finished reading Finders Keeper by Stephen King. It's the second book of the series. Love the book.
#2. I started doing my workout this week but not Insanity Max 30 program. I did Get Ripped by Jari Love DVD.
#3. I am doing listersgottalist challenge for July. Love love love doing this project. I am also making a lists for Eid 2015.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Think about it this way…If you take one picture and write down three facts each week — at the end of the year you’ll have more than 50 photos of yourself and 150 facts about what life has been like. It would make such an epic All About Me book — and most of the work is already done." - rukristin.com

Digital Project Life [Week 26] and more

For week 26 I continue using Project Life App to design the page. This time I used a lot of Olive Edition Kit from the app. I kinda like the floral pattern and the color from Olive Kit. I am a little bit lazy to journal so I add my #listersgottalist June challenge on the journaling card pocket

Project 365 [Week 26]

Most of the photos for is week were from my #ramdandaily photo challenge. So that's why some of the photos looked familiar. I am just lazy to take another photo.

My week twenty six was a little bit challenging either at work or at home. It was also the second week of Ramadan and most of  my kids are adjusting to different timetable. No sick leave last week and when Friday comes I was to tired. I am so good lately. I hope that it was not something serious.

HERE IS MY WEEK IN PHOTOS

DAY 173- As usual I only have Monday morning to do all my planning for the week.
Day 173

DAY 174- Usually when the traffic was bad I had no choice but to listen to audiobook to keep myself entertain.
Day 174

DAY 175- Things that are on my desk at the moment. it's a good idea to capture the technology that I used at the moment. For sure ten years from now my desk will not look the same.
Day 175

DAY 176- It's Thursday and it's another selfie project.
Day 176

DAY 177- this is me posing for a photo on my blog. I used Afterlight app and Pict tap go app for this photo. I like how it's turned out.

Day 177

DAY 178- A new Thomas shoes for my baby boy. He is so obsessed with Thomas at the moment.
Day 178

DAY 179- Sunday and it's time to go out shopping my family. It's an adventure at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Walking around this area is definitely a challenge this time of the year because there are too many people here doing the same thing.
Day 179

TAKE A LOOKED AT MY 2014 JOURNEY HERE.
