Project Life [ Week thirty four ]

Week Thirty Four I am slowly getting back into my normal routine. I was not as easy as I would have hope. I felt alone most of the time even though I was not really alone. The emptiness and the loneliness sometimes sound so loud that made me feel like I am nearly drowning.

August Book Haul 2014

I have not had a really great August. I didn't do any much reading. Coping with a lost of a parent isn't something that you can get over with in a heartbeat. One of many ways of couping with lost (at least for me) was hauling new books. I didn't get as much books as I would have like but it's enough to get me excited again about living.

My August Book Haul consists of the following:

#1. Belajar Tajwid dengan berkesan by Muhammad Nazir Mohammad Khalid
I definitely need to brush up on my Tajweed. This book is colourful and easy to follow. It's thin enough to carry anywhere you go.
bookhaul-august-01

#2. Landline by Rainbow Rowell
This is definitely a book I bought just because I love the color of the book - grey and pink. My favourite. I heard good things about this book, hopefully I will enjoy it.
bookhaul-august-02

#3. Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins.
I just got to buy this book. I don't know how long they will sell them in hardcover in my local store. I have not read any of Stephanie Perkins book but I intend to read them once I got my hand on the other two books from her.
bookhaul-august-03

#4. Private LA by James Patterson & Mark Sullivan
Another series by James Patterson that I have not read before.
bookhaul-august-04

#5. Gone by James Patterson & Michael Ledwidge
Never read this series before. Looking forward to it.
bookhaul-august-05

#6. Power Play by Danielle Steel
It has been a long since the last time I read a book by Danielle Steel. She was one of my favourite author when I was growing up. I can't wait to read her book again.
bookhaul-august-06

#7. The Playful Parenting by Julia Deering
I need to study this and be more creative with my toddler. I need the push and the inspiration.
bookhaul-august-07

#8. To all the boys I've loved before by Jenny Han
I never read a book by this author yet but I heard a lot of good things about this book. Something light and feel good.
bookhaul-august-08

#9. 101 Wasiat Emas dari Al Quran
Something I really need for the soul. There are so many things I have not uncover from the Quran. I intend to learn more about it.
bookhaul-august-09

#10. Mr Mercedes by Stephen King
I bought this hardcover book just because I think it's beautiful and would look good on my bookshelf. And I really really want to read this book.

#thursday3 [04.09.2014]

I am feeling much better emotional wise but I still feel like something is missing from my life. Sticking as much as possible to your normal routine really helps a lot.

HERE ARE MY PHOTO AND FACTS FOR THE WEEK

04092014

#1. I have finished reading The Cuckoo's Calling (Cormoran Strike) by Robert Galbraith. I can't wait to read The Silkworm (A Cormoran Strike Novel)

#2. I am listening to Veronica Mars: An Original Mystery by Rob Thomas: The Thousand-Dollar Tan Line first novel after the movie. I am loving it just because Kristen Bell narrated it. It feels like watching a movie.

#3. Finally 30 days of list September starts. I am so excited not only for making lists but for having something to post on a daily basis.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Think about it this way…If you take one picture and write down three facts each week — at the end of the year you’ll have more than 50 photos of yourself and 150 facts about what life has been like. It would make such an epic All About Me book — and most of the work is already done."

Follow along each week using the hashtag #thursday3 dan tagged me @hanizeyecandy. I want to see your selfie and read about you

Creating something to get by....

As far as I can remember I have always have digital scrapbook by my side no matter what happened in my life. No matter how sad or depress I get, I can always count on digital scrapbook to lift up my spirit and help me deal with life.

I don't think I've shared with you my latest 12x12 scrapbook layouts. These layouts were created with Pixelily Designs Kits.

#1. Collecting Moments: August by Pixelily Designs

5thing-rightnow-web

#2. Shop Till You Drop by Pixelily Designs

rememberthis-web
{this layout is a tribute to my mother. I missed her so much. It really helps a lot when I can document her amazing life as far as I can remember. What she means to me and the last few days that I get to talked to her were the last I remembered the most}

And this is my attempt at Digital Art Journalling. Right now I am taking Digital Art Journal class at JessicaSprague.com . She is one of my favourite instructor.
I am so obsess with brushes right now!

life-is-beautiful-web

Jessica asked us to do our own take with the lesson 1 prompt (Heart). So far I am happy that I can copy her layout and learn the technique first. This is definitely out of my comfort zone.

#30lists // 1. Today is brought to you by..

Prompts_1

I just can't believe that today is already September. It's the first day of September and it's a public holiday here because yesterday was our Merdeka Day. I wanted so bad for this day to go smoothly just because I have so many projects I wanted to do. I am so sick that all I want to do is sleep. I took a few pills and antibiotic this afternoon after a visit to a doctor. I got tomorrow off to recuperate. I am feeling a little bit better the evening after a long sleep.

Prompt #1. Today is brought to you by.....

30dayslists-01

Today is brought to you by...

  • haniz-eyecandy.blogspot.com

  • positive attitude
  • the Cuckoo's calling novel
  • Hit The Floor Season 2
  • 30 days of lists project
  • ipad
  • iphone
  • love
  • amazing project this month

I used the free kit that comes with 30 days of lists September project. Adjust the quick page  with the title prompt to 4x6 size. This time around I will print my 30 days of lists on 4x6 paper and slip them into my Project life mini album.

August favorites

August favorite

AUGUST FAVORITES

  • This is such a sad month for me. No words can describe how I am feeling at the moment.
  • I registered for September 2014 30 days of lists project. The only project that I have been doing since the last two years.
  • I join 30 days of lists bog hop and it was so much fun.
  • I am not sure if I ever finished any book in August. I am still reading the Cuckoo's Calling and I am grieving. Not a great combination to get excited about a book. Regardless of the unpleasant feeling, I still enjoy reading it. I think I've finished reading Divergent .
  • Playing catch up with my Project Life layout for week 30 - week 34.

I hope you had an amazing August. No matter how hard life gets, try to stay positive and look for things to be grateful for.

Project 365 [ Week 35]

If it was up to me, I don't think I want to go back to work and face other people. Sometimes I just felt like staying in my room all day long. Work is the last thing on my mind right now. I wish I have the luxury to just quit and travel the world. I want to see all the beautiful places and experience life to the fullest , not coop up in my room and do things that seems important but somehow it's not.

HERE IS MY WEEK IN PHOTOS

day 237- I was taking the day off and I got a chance to spend it with my boy. Love the routine of a stay at home mom

day 237

day 239- I start to write again in my journal. I have no idea why I stop in the first place. I am still processing the death of my mom and writing did help a lot with sorting out my feelings and my thinking.
day 239

day 238- First day back to work, and I am listening to the Cuckoo's Calling audible book. It took my awhile to read the book but listening to book help me capture the essence of the book and really help me a lot with the slang and the language.

day 238

day 240- Suddenly I saw this cute boy put on the bucket as a hat and play with his plastic toy. Such a beautiful sight to watch me get involve with this toy.

day 240-2

day 241- I just can't believe how grown up he got in less then four months. He is definitely not a baby anymore. No mistake about it.

day 242

day 242 - My daughter is getting bigger and smarter now. She is such a beautiful girl inside and out. The best part was she loves me dearly and we have a lot in common.

day 241-1

day 243- Getting ready for 30 days of lists September project tomorrow. This definitely my album for the next 30 days. Can't wait to share!

day 243

------------------------------------------------------------------
These are my life in photos for week thirty five.  So many things happened and if I don't take the time to document them I might miss a lot. I still believe when you took the time to document the every day and the good things that happened in your life, you will be more grateful. Just saying.

Do you join Project 365 this year?
