#thursday3 [07.08.2014]

This week I have already started working. Even though I don't want to, I just have to put a smile on my face and just do it.

#1. I have finished reading The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey. I have never read a book like this. I am not sure how I feel about the book, I like some of it and I hate some part of it. I like Cassie for sure, she is tough and she has lost a lot.

#2. The traffic to work is surprisingly smooth compare to before Ramadan. I am not sure if a lot of people are still on holiday or they don't drive their cars to work anymore. Hemmm

#3. I am fasting for the fourth day today. I really like fasting. I have a lot of time to spare and I am not constantly thinking about food.

Think about it this way…If you take one picture and write down three facts each week — at the end of the year you’ll have more than 50 photos of yourself and 150 facts about what life has been like. It would make such an epic All About Me book — and most of the work is already done."

Follow along each week using the hashtag #thursday3 dan tagged me @hanizeyecandy. I want to see your selfie and read about you

Totally Random Eid 2014

I was sick on the fifth day of Eid. This year was not as fun and as exciting like the year before. And I also cannot get connected to internet, so I was not able to update things related to Eid as they happened.
One thing I love the most on my fb feeds were Eid photos from my friends. I love seeing the family photos with all the fun and interesting they did during this festive time.

Thanks Allah for blessing us with your kindness and opportunity to be with each other. I am loving my Eid so far. Hope you have a blessing Eid.

July Reads 2014

Since it was Ramadan most of July and I got a lot of time stuck in a heavy traffic, I used that time to listen to an audiobook and catch up on my reading. I can't believe that I've finished reading six books in July. This is some kind of a record for me. I am happy that I have finally enjoying literature and appreciate the world that these writers create.

Books that I've finished in July

1. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi - This is the first book I read by Tahereh Mafi. This is totally different kind of writing. I am not sure if I like the style but I kept reading it. Juliette, Adam and Warner. Hemmm such a unique character. So far I haven't fall in love with any of the character. Maybe I need to read all books in the series before I can understand this dystopian world.

2. The Hit (Will Robie) by David Baldacci - The second book I read in Will Robie series. I am reading the series backward and I still enjoy the book. I do want this book to be a movie. I love Robie and Reel characters.

3. Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi - This is the second book I read by Tahereh Mafi. I like Ignite Me better than Shatter Me. This is when Juliette discover her true potential and she got to spend some alone time with Adam. It's kinda a war stories but with lots of cool super power being there.

4.  Unravel Me (Shatter Me) by Tahereh Mafi  - The third a last book of the series. By far this is the best book ever. I love reading about Juliette and Adam. It's the kind of story that give you hope and grew on you.

5. Unlucky 13 (Women's Murder Club) by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro - I just love this book. Even though I am a little bit late jumping into Women Murder Club series but I like the characters and the book so far. One thing I am not a fan of was there were too many stories in the book. I kinda wish Mr Patterson focus more on one or two story at a time.

6. NYPD Red 2 by James Patterson & Marshall Karp - Love love love this book. Again I am late jumping into NYPD Red series (What's up with Mr Patterson? He kept writing series) but I don't mind. I like this book too and I like the characters. I am looking forward to reading the first book

Currently reading

1. The 6th Target (Women's Murder Club) by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro - the 6th series of Women's Murder Club series. The case is interesting and scary. It's always scary when it involves a missing child.

2. The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey - Ah.. the alien invasion kinda book. It's a little bit hard for me to get into. I only like Cassie point of view. It's a little bit hard for me to imagine this world. It would be nice to see it on film. Looking froward to the second book this september.

3.The Cuckoo's Calling (Cormoran Strike) by Robert Galbraith - Started to read this book today.

Project Life [Week 29] and [Week 30]

I am finally back into my normal routine. Saying goodbye to Ramadan and welcoming Syawal with my family. I took a week off from work and really have a great holiday. I just wanted Sunday to be a lot longer. I want my time off from work. I just realise that I am not enjoying my work as much. All I want to do is spend my time with my family. We only have so little time on this earth to do mundane things.

Anyway I got a chance to do Project Life Layout for week 29 and week 30. I will probably try to do Project Life layouts for week 31 some time this week.

Project 365 [ Week thirty one]

I just can't believe that my holiday is coming to an end. Well all good things happened to move faster than the bad things. Tomorrow my normal routine resume. I hope I still have the passion to get up in the morning and go to work.

day 209 - The first Syawal happened to be on Monday. This year we decided on the colour turquoise.
day 209

day 210 - The second Syawal we wore last year clothing which is purple, except for me. I wore a new purple white dress.
day 210

day 211 - The third Syawal we went to Muar visiting relatives. Mostly my aunt.
day 211

day 212 - The fourth Syawal, we stayed at home. Mostly due to my health. I was so sick that day. I just stay in bed and focus on getting better.
day 212

day 213 - The fifth day of Syawal is the time to go back home. But before we start the journey, we visit my brother in law's house and as always, Hanif is enjoying himself with all kind of cookies and food.
day 213

day 214 - It's time to chill at home and enjoying my off time at the comfort of my home. And it's also time to resume reading the 5th Wave. This is such a thick book and I am having trouble finishing it. I only like the story about Cassie but when they throw in Zombie and Nugget I am a bit lost. Urghh! I hate war!
day 214

day 215 - My last day of solitude and I just finished my #ramadandaily album. I like seeing all my photos in an album.
day 215

These are my life in photos for week thirty one.  So many things happened and if I don't take the time to document them I might miss a lot. I still believe when you took the time to document the every day and the good things that happened in your life, you will be more grateful. Just saying.

Do you join Project 365 this year?
If you do linked up in the comment, I would love to
see your work and a glimpse of your life in 2014
