#thursday3 [08.05.2014]

This week is such a hectic week for me. Life is not as usual. My normal routine is totally change. I try to be positive and open mind about it. So far I am handling things pretty good considering how inflexible I am.

#1. I am depending on Waze app a lot this week. Finding different route to Mont Kiara has been an interesting and challenging journey for me.

#2. I am using Instax Share Printer like crazy. I love the portability and the convenience of printing from my phone.

#3. Catching up on Devious Maids Season 2. I am loving this season so far.

Think about it this way…If you take one picture and write down three facts each week — at the end of the year you’ll have more than 50 photos of yourself and 150 facts about what life has been like. It would make such an epic All About Me book — and most of the work is already done."

Follow along each week using the hashtag #thursday3 dan tagged me @hanizeyecandy. I want to see your selfie and read about you

5 things // why I love iphone 5s

Most people I know used Samsung or Sony as their go to smartphone. They have so many beautiful things that they like about those devices and they are happy with it. I totally know what they meant because not long time ago I was a SONY Xperia user and an android user. It was back in 2010. I like Sony especially when it comes to music and camera quality. It was the best. Jumping to an iPhone was a big leap for me because at that moment I don't really have any preference. Boy I was totally blown away by iPhone 4, mostly because at that time there were a lot more apps on iPhone compare to android.
After I jump into iphone world, I have never look back.

Now I owned an iPhone 5S and I am loving it. I am not sure if I want to write a blog post raving about iPhone because some people are put off by the price. For the quality and the value I got from the phone, cost becomes relative and sometimes cheaper in the long run. In a way iPhone is a smaller computer in your palm.

In the end it's what fits your lifestyle and your needs at the moment is what matter most.

5 things why I love iPhone 5S

1. The Battery Life
The phone remains light weight and the battery life is pretty good. I was a little bit worried about the battery life when they changed the chip to 64bit. I can heavily used the  phone for almost eight hours straight without charging.I think this is due to the microprocessor build in the phone.

2. It's faster
I have never used a smartphone that is as fast as iphone5S before. The speed made the other phone seem slower in comparison. iOs 7 works beautifully on iPhone5S.

3. It's Gold
I just can't believe that I have a gold iphone in my hand. It feels luxurious like a princesses with a golden tiara.

4. The Camera quality is amazing
Nothing beats the camera quality of iphone 5S especially the front facing camera. As a person who loves taking photos on a daily basis, having a great go to camera is definitely a plus in my book. Finally my selfie look so much better.

5. It fits perfectly in my hand
This is a plus for me because I don't like bulky phone. I can hold the phone with one hand and it feels like an extension of me.

No matter what choice of smartphone you pick, the most important thing is you are happy with it and it fits seamlessly into your lifestyle. After all a phone is just a tool to help you improves your life. It is not a competition or a trend.

Dear Hazim
I am feeling a little bit nostalgic on your birthday. 1997- 17 years ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. We called him Hazim. Little did we know that having a child changed our lives completely. We become parents for the first time and I become a mother.

Being a mother is something I am not really prepared for. You heard a lot of cute and beautiful thing about being a mother but nobody really told you about the constant crying, the late night feeding and the juggling between staying awake and driving to work the next day.

I do remember the day at the hospital when my brother asked me about weather I want to have another child and I immediately say no. The pain was too much for me to handle.

Now 17 years later, I have three other kids. Raising you, even though challenging at times, really makes me realized how much I love being a mother. The joy of motherhood is something I would not trade for anything. I love being your mom.

You grow up beautifully. You are kind, compassionate and thoughtful. I feel so bless to have you in my life. Sometimes I just felt like you grow up in a blink of an eye. You are no longer a baby, you are becoming a young man.

I love you dearly...

Project Life [Week 18]

Alhamdulillah, week eighteen things seems to go back to normal. My mom is recovering at home. I pray for her healthy and safety. My work and personal life is a little bit busier just because I was working outside the office and taking a day off. And its already May. Seriously??  May???
My project 365 and project life seems to run smoothly. So far there's no hiccup or playing catch up games. Love the current process. I plan to share my Project Life process this month. I am keeping things as simple as possible.
