Four Simple Goals before 2015

I am not sure if Elsie will bring back the 4 simple goals challenge  this year but I decided to do them anyway just because I love list and I love making goals. I did play along in 2010 , 2012 and  2013 and it was so much fun. I love a little reminder to take stock of the things I really want to accomplish before the end of the year. I know I can do this - Short term and achievable goals.

{Note: I pick up the rules from last year challenge. If Elsie change the rules this year, I will update them}
"If you want, here are the "rules":
1. Choose simple goals that will make your life richer and happier on a daily basis. Choose things you may not otherwise get done but are not difficult to accomplish.
2. Do not choose result oriented goals. Choose activity oriented goals. For example, instead of "lose 10 pounds", choose something like "eat fresh fruits and vegetables every day". Get what I'm saying? Positive actions instead of just the end result!
3. Choose personal goals you believe will truly make your life richer just by doing them! They can be daily, weekly or one time experiences.
4. Choose a reward for each goal as it is accomplished! It can be a small or large reward—it's up to you.
5. Blog about your goals, each one as you achieve it and a big post when they are all finished before the new year! Be sure to leave us a link to your blog in the comments section. I'll be sure to share my experiences in a follow-up post before the new year." excerpt from A Beautiful Mess blog.

These are my 4 simple goals before 2015

4 Simple Goals before 2015

#1. Journal 3 times weekly. Since this year my One Little Word journey is all about writing and journalling, it's a good idea to end the year with more writing that when I started.

#2. Play with my son outside of the house at least once a week. I have become one of those parents who shoved an iPad to the kid to shut them up. I am making the next two months of this year to at least try and play with my son outside of the house, running and jumping around just for the fun of it.

#3. Read at least 3 more books before end of the year. I notice that this month is not a reading month for me. I would be lucky if I could finished two books. So I am going to make my personal mission to at least read three new books before the year ends. The more the better but I am not going to set myself up to fail. Plan for success is a good way to feel good about yourself.

#4. Do Insanity workout at least once a week and T25 workout at least times a week. Keeping up with my workout schedule has become a challenge lately. I get bored easily with the same routine and it's easier for me to ignore my workout appointment if I didn't put the schedule workout in my planner.

Do you still have any unfinished goals? If you do and want to make this a fun and challenging goals, come and join in the fun. It's only 4 goals and we still have two months to do it.
