Friday Finds // October fourth

I am so loving my October so far. Life is moving faster than usual as I predicted. I notice the mood in my office has changed. Somehow everybody is different.
As always I love to browse the internet either for work or for pleasure. Life is so much better since I discovered internet way back in 1997.

Beautiful and happy things I discovered this week are as follows. I just love window shopping for beautiful kits, watching youtube channel and lists.

WW:Before and After

Beautiful moment I would love to capture and document for the future. His first hair cut at the barber after almost six months. This was the first time he sat on the high stool on his own and he didn’t even cried or scared. I think he looked confused. How adorable!

Focus T25 Gamma Cycle // Week 1 review

I started Gamma Cycle Week One last week. This cycle focus more on strength training. As always when I focus with strength training I am not going to see any drop in my weight. Hopefully I will feel the different when I ware my old clothes.

t25-gamma Current weight: 57kg

My Review and Tips

  • day 1: Speed 3.0  -Speed 3.0 follows Speed 2.0 style. I think Speed 3.0 is less challenging than Speed 2.0. Maybe I expected more challenging workout and I didn't like the song in Speed 3.0

  • day 2 : Ript Up--- purely upperbody strength workout. It's a good idea to start with lighter weight if you are not used to strength training. I did this workout early in the morning and by 4:00 pm I totally felt sore in my upper body

  • day 3: Extreme Circuit – this workout test your endurance and build muscle mass. Weight all the way. By day 3 I am totally missed Speed 2.0, so sneak in Speed 2.0 in the evening. It was so much fun and energizing at the same time

  • day 4: The Pyramid – this is still a strength training but the movie build up like a pyramid. Starting with a lighter weight is also wise. I think by second week you can increase the weight

  • day 5: Speed 3.0 – the fifth day you do another cardi with speed 3.0. The second time around, you started to get the hang of it and it becomes challenging. Focus focus focus is definitely the key

  • As I mention earlier, doing strength training will not make me loose weight but I am sure I loose inches/cms.. I should start measuring that but somehow I am a bit lazy to measure. As long as I can fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans I am totally happy.

I am so looking forward to Week Two. Since Gamma Cycle focus more on strength, I will mix it up with Speed 2.0 or Core Cardio from Beta Cycle as an add on to the program.

October is for…..

I am so excited to welcome October. I am so looking forward to end of the year. I have a few vacation time plan during the long school holidays in November and December. So October is going to be the month of completing all the uncompleted task and getting ready for spending more time with the family.

Octoberisfor

October is for…

  • Finishing three more weeks of Focus T25 Gamma Cycle
  • I am thinking of continuing with Insanity Program or maybe mix and match the Alpha, Beta and Gamma workout for another four weeks. I still haven’t decide yet
  • Fasting on October 14 and celebrating Eid Adha on October 15, 16 and 17. We still haven’t decide weather to go back to our hometown or not. It all depends on a lot of things.
  • I have already started making the photo book for 2013 but I got distracted by smash book.
  • Taking a #selfie daily in the month of October. It’s a project I started in the middle of July and somehow it get left out. I just have to start early in the month than only I can keep track and plan
  • Now that I am on a regular fitness schedule, I need to stop obsessing with my weight and focus more on how my clothes fit me.
  • Learning how to manage chaos and uncertainty. I foresee that October is going to be fill with travelling, hosting a big event and managing my current commitment at work
  • I am planning to take at least three days off from work this month just for the fun of it.

Today might be the end of 30 days of lists challenge for September 2013 but it is not the end of me making lists. I still have a lot of pages in my 30 days of list notebook. I might continue making the list in the book for the rest of the year.
I am so looking forward to next 30 days of lists challenge next year.

My lovely September

I had such a fun and lovely September. This month I started doing #30lists project and the first prompt was what's new so far this year. I just love making list and I am so sorry to see the end of the project. I am so looking forward to next year list.
List 1

I just can' believe how similar they both are. My two boys looked almost the same at the same age.

I just love making a layout like this, it is fun and it is different. Totally out of my comfort zone.

I am enough-web

I have been obsess with instax mini polaroid since last month but I haven't convinced myself that it was a wise investment at this time. So to fulfill my instax mini polaroid obsession I made a DIY Instax mini template in A4 size so that I can print them with my Canon E510 printer.

And I also started doing Focus T25 Beta Cycle workout. I love this cycle just because it is fun and challenging at the same time. And I am totally obsess with Speed 2.0

I am jumping up and down when I finally held Canon Selphy cp900 in my hand. This is the most fun and creative little printer I have ever owned. And it got wireless connection so that I can print directly from my iphone.

My darling Hanif turned seventeen month this month. Seeing him grow and blossom into a beautiful baby boy is such a joy and fun experience.

To continue learning, I decided to enroll in another Digital Scrapbook Course by Jessica Sprague called Digi In Deep. I am learning so much just in Lesson 1 alone. I am already doing lesson 2 and currently practicing all the cool technique I learned in that course.

Oh I also upgrade to ios7 for my iphone and ipad. The new design totally grow on you. I don't really like the interface at first but after awhile I learn to appreciate the simple design. And it's totally fun to play around with the new features.

I hope you had a blast September. I know I am. I am so looking forward to October because I know that this month is going to move way too fast. My calendar is almost full for October.

#currentlylist // September thirty
