Let's get your photos out of your phone

Last time I was dreaming of having a Canon Selphy CP900 for my home. I finally bought this cute little printer last two weeks and I have been loving it so far. I have the pink version of the printer with 108 postcard photo paper.

What do I like about the photo printer so far?
  • I really love the wifi enable. I can print my photo directly from my iphone. So much easier to get your photo out of your iphone
  • The print quality is amazingly superb! And it last for about 100 years.
  • This printer also support SD card, so I can print my photos directly without using a computer
  • The printer is compact, small and lightweight. That means you can bring with you anywhere you go. It makes printing your photo amazingly convenient
  • You can enhance your photos with the "Portrait Image Optimize" setting
  • And the photo is also water resistance
  • I can also write directly on the photo and it won't damage your photo
List 16
This is a photo I print using this photo printer

What I don't like about the Canon Selphy CP900?

  • There's no driver for Windows 8. That means you can't print you photo from your Windows 8 laptop. (I need to use a usb or transfer the photos to my iphone for printing if I use my laptop for photo editing)
  • There's no Compact Falsh card slot to access your photo. Not really a big problem for me because I've already upgrade my canon to 60D which use SD card

Currently I have printed more than 40 photos and I am really satisfied with the results. I used the photo for my September 2013 #30list project, my smash book project and as a display photos in my home. I just can't stop using it. If you are in the market for a photo printer don't forget to put Canon Selphy CP900 in your list.

Cost: RM 399.00 (or cheaper)
Paper Cost: RM95 (for 108 sheets of postcard photo paper)

Instax mini DIY

When my obsession with Polaroid starts, I wrote about how to get a polaroid like photo using your phone and print them with your printer. I love the square photo finished when I used Instant App. I tried to look for Instax mini size app but I didn’t find one. (if you do find them in the app store let me know ).
So for the time being I made the Instax mini size photo using a template, adobe photoshop and a color printer.
To download the template click here. (It’s in psd format and it print of A4 paper)
instax-mini-A4paper
#1. Open the file with Adobe Photoshop. I organize the frames into groups. So you can clipped your photos frame by frame.
image
#2. Use the clipping mask to put your photo into position. Make sure you uncheck the AutoSelect. Add text if you want to or delete the layer is you don’t want to add text.
image
#3. Repeat the process for the rest of the frames.
image
#4. And when you are done with all the nine photos, you are ready to print them out

This is the final output after you cut them out. Nice little Instax mini polaroid photos. I just love these little momentous of my random life.

I hope you enjoy making Intax mini of some of your photos. It takes a little bit of your time and it is not instant but you have the feeling of holding the Instax mini photos in your hand.

Focus T25 Beta Cycle // Week 4 Review

I did not have a great Week 4. I spend the week doing the workout early in the morning and I just can’t push myself harder just because I am not fully awake yet. Maybe doing the workout early in the morning is not a good idea. ( I just love the idea of checking off the workout early in the morning. That way I don’t have to deal with it when I am tired late in the evening)
t25beta
Weight today: 57.5 kg

My weight start creeping up just because I did not control my eating during three days vacation at Labuan and I just can’t stop eating chocolates. So my plan for week 5 is to double up my routine to make for my off days. Hopefully I can loose that 1kg that I gained.
My Review:
  • In week 4, I feel like Ript Circuit is getting less challenging except for the core routine. I need to use heavier weight this week
  • I am still loving Speed 2.0 and I just can’t get enough of it. I might double the workout with Speed 2.0 just for fun.
  • Core Cardio is getting more fun for me even tough I still felt like it’s the longest 25 minutes ever
  • Not watching what I ate really caused me my ideal weight. So for week 5 I am going to be a little bit critical of what I ate and see if it makes a lot of different
  • Stretching… hemmm I still need to squeeze that in into my routine
I am so looking forward to Week Five of Beta Cycle. I am still need to reached my target weight which is 55kg (maybe? hemmmm I might continue with Gamma cycle if I did not see any big changes this week)

Love the new catalogue as always

Everyday life is the theme for 2014 catalogue. I am so in love with Ikea. I might go there soon. Can't wait to be inspired.

I really love this saying...
"Life at home is aboutcreatingspace for everydaylife A it happens. For all the things you want to do. For the things you love. And for everyone that ypu spend your time with. Because when the home works for the way you live, life simply becomes better."

Love these beautiful pillows. It just a great place to relax and play at the same time.

I can't resist this beautiful pink sofa. I wish I have a space to put this in.
