Play with ribbon

I was browsing my old creating keepsake magazine ( I think it was 2006 or 2007 edition, I’m not really sure), I saw this great idea from A studio section about mixing this up. Doing a scrapbook page out of your comfort zone.

One of the five challenge in that magazine was using lots of ribbons on a single page. I immediately search my whole stash including the old and the new stash for any elements related to ribbons. Surprisingly I have many beautiful ribbons in my collection which some of them I’ve never used before! (what a shame)

So for this challenge I used more than one ribbon from more than one kit or one designer. I really love how this page turned out.

The above page was inspired by this old layout. I really love how scrapbooking magazines can still inspired after all these years.

When life gives you lemon... this is what you do...

I am so glad that I have digital scrapbooking to turn to when I am feeling down. This hobby is really a great theraphy for me. Somehow, life is so much better when I am in that world.
I decided to make a lot of layout this week. Starting with using the kits I've bought during NSD and moving on to some kits from my collection.

I hope you enjoy these little eye candy from me today. It looks like today is going to be a great day after all.

#currentlylist // May six

Today is the aftermath of our 13th general election. So many unofficial feedback on the social media. The result wasn’t out of the ordinary. It was expected. Change is a scary thing and not many people want to change. We love familiarity and we love comfort. Change require hard work.

“8 Questions. 52 Weeks. Embracing Right Now. The Currently Journaling Challenge takes one minute out of your week to document your story right now.”

This is my list for today

  • watching: Bones season eight
  • reading: still reading Touch and go novel at Chapter Ten (moving very slowly)
  • listening: One Direction album
  • making: a lists of things that I can do if I retire early
  • feeling: sad
  • planning: to be more positive and not to focus on the negative things
  • loving: my mini vacation from work ..

    Come and join the fun

  • Curious what my lists look like last week?

Today is all about you // Sweet sixteen

Hazim is sixteen years old today- Mei 05, 2013. My son is almost a young adult.
He was so cute as a little boy. I do missed him as a baby and as a little boy. Hazim UntitledUntitled
Hope his future will be brighter. Here to a government without corruption and high integrity.

Selamat Mengundi to all // #pru13

This happened once in every five years- the General Election. Today we exercise our rights. Today the people will choose who they want to represent them. So what are you waiting for? Get up, get dress and vote!
New voters read this before going out. It’s nice to be prepared.
Some random things that really great to document in my blog
#1. These are the people I have to choose
#2. Photos from yesterday outing. I just seeing all these flags around town. This phenomena can only be seen once every five years.
I have to show my kids that I am mature enough to choose the right leader without bashing others. I have to show my kids that I choose Islam above all else. I have to show my kids that I care for their future.
    Love and Peace!
