#30lists // 16. This month’s soundtrack

list 16
I totally love today lists. I grew up listening to music. Every time I listen to Thriller song by Michael Jackson, I’m immediately transported to the days of my childhood. I love how music can really be a tool to remember and reflect.

  • World from the end of the Moon – Phillip Phillips
  • Farmer’s Daughter – Crystal Bowersox
  • Stronger – Kelly Clarksn
  • Red- Taylor Swift
  • Pitch Perfect Soundtrack

What is 30 days of lists?
Not everyone can make a mini scrapbook every week or an art journal page every night.
30 Days of Lists is our encouragement and challenge to you that you CAN journal just something every day- even something as small as a list.
Every day through the month of March 2013 we will be posting a list prompt – anything from weekend goals to celebrity crushes. At the end of the 30 days you’ll have a collection of entries creating a small snapshot of your life right now.
Only 5-10 minutes per day are really needed. While you’re waiting for someone, or when you’re the passenger in the car. You can even download the list topics ahead of time to get a jump start!excerpt from 30daysoflist.com

#PixelilyDesigns // Little Sweetness

Pixeily Design has a new kit called Little Sweetness. I just love the soft color in this kit. It works well to document the special moment in your life or someone that means the world to you.

Friday Finds March fifteen

This week couldn’t move fast enough. I just have to force myself to pause and take a breath. So many things to do and so little time to make things happen. Managing and juggling my time is the skill that I need to learn and master. I desperately need things to change.

Anyway, moving on to the things I find interesting and inspiring this week. This really makes me happy, making lists and create. Life is too short to be miserable.

  • I was inspired to make these

With my current work load and schedule, making the time to make a layout is really challenging. I just can’t go through the week without making anything creative and express myself through digital scrapbooking.

Tips on how to squeeze your time for doing creative things

    1. Set a side at least one hour to make your layouts. It can be one layout or two layouts. By the end of one hour you can just stop.

    2. Spend at least one hour a day to just for window shopping or be inspired by other scrappers. Make a collection of those inspiration in your notebook.

    3. Do your scrapbooking supply shopping during weekend only. Those were the times when you get the best deals.

    4. Showcase your work either by blogging about it or uploaed your work to galleries, flickr or instagram. Feel good about your creations. It’s your story to tell and it’s a fun way to document your life.

Hanif and all things related to it

Since today is Wednesday, I just felt like sharing a few photos of my dear son. He is growing up way too fast for me. He is learning and absorbing everything at a lightning speed. I wish I could be with him all the time.

#52lists2013 // Week 9. lists the places you want to go

I was a bit busy last week and I missed last week prompt. I love to go places. If only I have all the money and the time in the world, I would very much like to travel.

Some of the places in my lists are something I can only dream off and some of them are something achievable and some of it might make it into my long term goal.

    #currentlylist // March eleven

I am hoping and praying that today will goes smoothly. No unnecessary stress. Somehow being there makes me feel stupid every day. I think it’s about time I do something about it. Working at a place that rob your sanity and creativity isn’t worth it in the long run. Sometimes it’s hard for me to differentiate if I really hate the job or if I really hate the management.
Sorry for rambling a bit about life at the moment. I really try my hardest to make lemons but sometimes you just run out of juice.
Moving on to my currently lists for today….
