I usually make my weekly page by playing with the challenge in my art journal e-course. I didn’t play along with the journal at the moment but I definitely play with the art journal challenge.
I am really happy and excited to reach the 32 weeks milestone. That means I have 8 weeks more to go. Such a challenging and exciting experience for me.

“Your baby now weighs approximately 3.75 pounds / 1.7 kilograms and is about 17 inches / 42 centimetres long from head to toe. Although his lungs won't be fully developed until just before birth, your little one is inhaling amniotic fluid to exercise his lungs and practice breathing. Some babies have a head of hair already, others have only a few wisps. Thick hair at birth doesn't necessarily mean thick hair later on but children with fine hair in childhood usually have thinner hair in adulthood.” source babycenter.
“This week, your body may start prepping for delivery day by flexing its muscles — literally. If you feel your uterus bunching or hardening periodically, those are practice contractions, otherwise known as Braxton Hicks. These rehearsals (typically experienced earlier and with more intensity in women who've been pregnant before) feel like a tightening sensation that begins at the top of your uterus and then spreads downward, lasting from 15 to 30 seconds (though they can sometimes last two minutes or more). How do you know these contractions aren’t the real thing? They’ll stop if you change position (try getting up if you’re lying down or walking if you’ve been sitting). “ source what to expect when you are expecting.
Najib Announces Cancellation Of SBPA
“PUTRAJAYA, March 8 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today announced the cancellation of the Public Service New Remuneration Scheme (SBPA) which was to have been effective on Jan 1 this year, and said civil servants will enjoy an improved version of the current Malaysian Remuneration Scheme (SMS).
The Prime Minister also announced the setting up of a commission comprising the relevant interest groups to make a comprehensive and holistic study of the remuneration system for civil servants.
He also announced salary adjustments of 13 per cent for employees in the management and professional group from grade 1 to 54, nine per cent for the Jusa A, B and C grades, eight per cent for the staff grades 2 and 3, and seven per cent for staff grade one and the Chief Secretary to the Government.
Najib said the existing matrix salary schedule will be improved to reflect minimum-maximum salaries with increments ranging from RM80 to RM320 for grades 1 to 54. The annual increment for Jusa grades will remain according to the SSM.
For the Cost of Living Allowance (COLA), Najib announced it would be increased from RM200 to RM250 for the B area while the allowance for the C area would be raised from RM100 to RM150.
Najib made the announcement at a special gathering with civil servants at the Dewan Perdana Pusat Konvensyen Antarabangsa Putrajaya, here today.”

Hemm what does this means for us as the civil servants? Other than the increment of salary do we get any other benefits? Do we still have to work like crazy, 24/7 kind of crazy and at the end of the day the increment of salary seems mundane? How about the Subject Matter Experts recognition and career path?
I just don’t know what have happened in the public service. When I first started everything works great, no unnecessary stress and pressure, you still have a life and your family needs always comes first. Lately or suddenly, everything seems to change 360 degree.. it feels like work has become your life and there’s no such thing as family comes first.
It’s that time of the year again! American Idol fever is back. So far I am very happy with this year selection. I think they have amazing talent on the Top 13 this year. At this point, I still don’t have any favourites yet.
In my opinion as a viewer – Colton, Skylar and Phillips can go really far in this competition. There’s something unique about them. I kind of hoping that this year a woman will win the American Idol title. It has been a long time due. Come on girls!
I am really looking forward to this week Top 13 performance.
This week I decided to jump straight to Challenge #49 in my Art Journal e-course. I really like the Art Challenge: Cut the large photo in half and use the spaces in between for journaling.

This is definitely something simple and yet it give my page character. Love this style definitely not in my comfort zone.
Weighing in at three-plus pounds and measuring 18 inches long, your baby is quickly approaching his birth length — though he's got to pack on another three to five pounds before D-day. Also developing at an impressive clip: your baby's brain connections (he's got to make trillions of them!). He's now processing information, tracking light, and perceiving signals from all five senses. He's also putting in longer stretches of sleep, which is why you're probably noticing more defined patterns of wakefulness (and movement) and rest (when he’s pretty still).

Chances are your diaphragm is feeling a little cramped these days. Okay, a lot cramped. That's because your uterus is pushing up against it (and all the other organs in there), crowding your lungs and making it more difficult for them to expand fully. The result: Your body is spare on air and will be until your baby drops near the end of pregnancy in preparation for birth. But don’t worry: Your baby is as happy as a clam because he’s getting his oxygen from the placenta. “ source what to expect when you’re expecting.
In all the chaos of spotting and admitted to the hospital, I didn’t get a chance to showcase this beautiful kit from Pixelily Designs called Life Captured: February. I just love the color purple in this kit.
And this is my layout using the above kit
Hope you have a great Sunday with the love ones!
