Some times all I can think about is laying on my bed and sleep

Pregnancy is such a joyful time for expected parents. It has been a long time since I last experience pregnancy and I totally forgot that during the early weeks were not pleasant. I am tired and nausea all the time. My tongue feel funny. The food taste funny. I am hungry all the time but I just can’t eat the food I used to love. I have to force myself to eat but I seldom feel full and satisfied. I constantly have to drag myself out of bed and get ready for work. My whole world is turning upside down. AnneBaby_2002

I just have to take a moment and breath and really focus on the big picture. At the end of 40 weeks I am going to welcome a new baby into my family and that’s going to be such a joy. I love everything about a newborn baby, the touch, the smell, the feel and overwhelming love. During this tough time I usually motivate myself by looking at the beautiful photos of babies. That alone enough to make me tough up and pray that I will get through the pain and discomfort. At the end it’s all worth it.

the story behind change

Our lives are changing in a rapid phase these last few weeks. I never really thought that this day will ever come, at least not when I reached forty. (heheh.. I guess it’s true what people say.. forty is definitely the new twenty!). My fertility seems to change into high gear and bam, this little miracle happened.

We are excited especially my daughter. She is so ready to be a big sister.

The idea of this little miracle is growing is finally sinking in. I just can’t seem to hide it anymore cause I am already showing and people kept pointing out my suddenly chubby cheek and slightly fat body. (hemmm really need to dig deep into my closet for outfit to wear to work. Nothing seems to fit anymore)

Even though this is my fourth, I am a bit excited because a lot has changed and improve since the last 10 years, in maternity and baby world. I really plan to enjoy every bit of this journey and making a list of all the things that need to be done ( easier said than done cause this time around all I wanted to is sleep all day and all night) before the D day.

Watching the baby’s heartbeat beating for the first time is an amazing and wonderful thing!
