Radiance is in the house

So I decided to buy a ne perfume today. Deciding which on to buy isn't an easy task. Si many choices and so many smell to choose from.
So after a lot of testing and smelling all different kind of fragrance I choose ....

Radiance by Britney Spears perfume line. I think this is her latest perfume in the market and this is also my first purchased of her product. I really like the not too soft and not too strong sweet smell of Radiance. It suits me perfectly. Last time I choosed Covet from Sarah Jessica Parker, which is a bit soft and flowery smell.
It looks like most celebrities have their own perfume line. I even saw Heat by Beyonce at the counter. I almost bought that one. I wonder if Lady Gaga have her own perfume line?

- If I have the opportunity to have my own perfume collection I would name them ...
# jantung hati
# insatiable
# permata
# shadow
# in search of
# mutiara
which will a lot of cinamon, jasmine, carnation, hibiscus and harum sundal malam smell... Heheh

jogging and blogging, can it be done?

This morning when I woke up I suddenly have the urge to run. I haven't done any running since early 2011. And I think it's about time I start moving again!

I grab my running shoes (which by the way I need a new pair) and headed to Taman Tasik Cempaka. I know they have an open aerobic class every Saturday morning.
I join the session for 20 mins and run for another 20 mins. Oh boy! Running is definitely one of the toughest exercise! The thing about running is your whole body feels it!

- Then it occurs to me that I've been coming to this place for years but don't have any photos of this place.

So the rest of 10 mins I spend it capturing all the beautiful things I see and blog about it real time.

- I am so loving this Camera + apps for iphone and of course BlogPress for making it fun and easy to blog from your phone

That's it for now, reporting live from Taman Tasik Cempaka. I am off to have my breakfast now. Jom

Friday Pleasure Speedlinking - 20.05.20100

Sometimes when you are at war with yourself, it's just so hard to put things into perspective because your heart wants what it wants. This is just something I've learned this week. No matter how hard you try, it's very hard to win an argument with your heart.
Enough about that, come and see what I find interesting this week!

Here are some great post that worth reading this week

Happy reading and have a great weekend!

Taking control of my life is such a challenge this whole week. Sometimes I just felt what the point of all this. What I have to do and what I want is totally different thing.

I need to take stock of things that makes me happy so that I would not get lost in this cruel and hectic world.
Just a little reminder for me … little things that make me happy..

Amazing One : 10 things

In todays world, we are presented with so many choices and too much information at one go. It became very hard to make a decisions or to process anything. Sometimes you can’t help but feel dumb and overwhelm.

I think our Prime Minister may be on to something when he introduced 1 Malaysia concept / initiatives. The idea of one is very intriguing. It seems simple but not so easy to implement. Can we really live in todays world if we only have one family, one wife, one house, one car, one computer, one TV, one channel, one phone or one telephone plan?

The idea of one is really about focus and unity. It gives your mind and your heart the space it needs to focus your everything to accomplish something great.

My two cents to adopt the idea of One in our daily lives, the 10 things version

#1. Having one place for all your to do lists should be a start. Having more than one place for your to do list really makes keeping up with stuffs a lot harder

#2. One calendar for your life either for work or personal. You only have one life to live, so this makes sense to me

#3. If you are a blogger, maybe you might want to try keeping just one blog. I actually have some personal experience in this area. When I first started blogging, I have about 4 blogs – one personal , one like a diary, one for mobile fun and one for scrapbooking. It can be fun in the beginning but after awhile it got so overwhelming and some of my blogs got neglected. In the end, I decided to close all my other blogs and just focus on just one blog.

#4. Focus on one task at a time. Sometimes multitasking can be great when you need to finished a lot of things faster without worrying about quality. A lot of times, quality get sacrificed along the way. It’s essential to give the task 100% of your focus, time, energy and attention.

#5. Living two lives  can be hard and exhausting. Why not try to live one life instead. Make a decision which one you want and stick to it.

#6. Read one book at a time and finished it before starting another  book

#7. Try open one website at at time. I tend to open more that one website at a time and most of the  time I got really confuse about why I open that website in the first place.

#8. Commit to one thing at a time. One  might be the loneliest number but it’s the easiest number to commit to. I usually tend to buy a lot of digital scrapbook kits a month and I rarely  used them because I can easily forgot what kit I bought. So this year, I make a commitment to just buy one product per month and scraps as many layout as I can

#9. Have one credit card in your wallet where ever you go. So easy to manage and keep track of all you spending

#10. Have one bottle of water near you  and finished  it before having another bottle of water. It’s just so much easier to manage and keep track of  your water in take per day

** Bonus for guys, are you up for the idea of one especially in regards to one wife? Do you think when guys have more than one wives they  have excellent time management skills or their wives are the one who doing all the managing and the guys are just along for the ride?

What I think? Paul

I like any alien related movie, so I just must see this movie.

“Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) reunite for the comedy adventure Paul as two sci-fi geeks whose pilgrimage takes them to America's UFO heartland. While there, they accidentally meet an alien who brings them on an insane road trip that alters their universe forever. For the past 60 years, an alien named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) has been hanging out at a top-secret military base. When he discovers he's been taken prisoner, the space-traveling smart ass decides to escape the compound and hop on the first vehicle out of town-a rented RV containing Earthlings Graeme Willy (Pegg) and Clive Gollings (Frost). Chased by federal agents and the fanatical father of a young woman that they accidentally kidnap, Graeme and Clive hatch a fumbling escape plan to return Paul to his mother ship. And as two nerds struggle to help, one little green man might just take his fellow outcasts from misfits to intergalactic heroes... Written by Universal Pictures excerpt from IMDB

What I think?

  • watch this movie if you want a feel good movie and pure fun
  • Paul is kinda cute
  • I just love the idea of a road trip with RV
  • I’m not really a fan of Pegg and Frost but I still enjoy the movie
  • Don’t expect too much from the movie. It’s just entertaining and won’t left you disappointed

bitten by an iphone bug yet? : #MaxisiPhone4

Have you been bitten by an iphone bug yet? Well I have. It’s the best decision I’ve made since February.
I’ve been eyeing the phone since August last year but I didn’t have the urge to buy one.
here is why I choose the iphone 4?
  • it’s because all the agents in Criminal Minds are using one (heheh)
  • it’s a bit  smaller than iphone 3 with a very cool and slick design
  • it’s so much faster compare to the previous version
  • and the battery last longer
  • what can I say about the apps? so many to choose from. Some of my favorites are camera +, snapbucket, cineapps, blogpress and stickies
  • I’m not sure about any other plan but Maxis provide reasonable prices
  • if you love white, iphone 4 white is here

So what are you waiting for? Hurry and grab one for yourself!

On the Floor : Jennifer Lopez

I am so surprise that I really really enjoy Jennifer Lopez new album. It was my taste and really upbeat. Keep moving and upbeat all day long.

I’ve been  a fan of her since “Love don’t cost a thing” . I really think that Love album is the best. I don’t really like her previous album (Brave). With Love I think JLo is  making a comeback as a singer and performer.

My favorite TV show of all time would be Star Trek Voyager. And here is why:

  • the captain of the ship is a woman. it’s about time
  • stranded in the Delta Quadrant which is 70,000 light years away from home makes them work harder together as a team to reach home
  • I really like Seven character, so child like and so vulnerable and yet very efficient in her daily life
  • I would really love to live in a star ship for a while. It would be an amazing experience to be living in space, use replicator and play in the holodeck
