Polaroid Love: Day #05 ; my journey home

It's time for me to go back home. I'm a bit half hearted to left my parents. It was a great one week for me and I am so not ready to go back home!
Some random things about today:
* I am wearing my  new shawl
* My car is full with stuffs that we bought here
* I hate to drive but I’m the only driver in the car. I can’t wait for my son to have his driving licences.
* It was a long journey because there’s a lot of cars on the road
* I was so restless with the unmoving traffic
* I am able to capture a few photos of it because the car was completely stop!
* the traffic jam delayed my trip by one hour
* luckily I can view my tumblr right from my phone. It was a nice break from watching all of the cars in front of me

I got to meet my niece, Zara again. She looks so cute and adorable! So I decided to convert some of her photos into polaroid.

taking photos of children is always fun. You can never predict how they react and what will they do. Lovely!

#Day 21 - A picture of something you wish you could forget

I don’t really care to make a layout about this but this is something I wish I could forget. That was the day my house was broken into by some thieves. They not only stole some stuffs but they ransack my house completely. I think they were looking for some cash and jewelleries. Lucky for me I didn’t have any of those laying around the house  and I am really grateful it happened when we were not at home.

This incident left me a little bit jitter and unsafe every time I am in the house. I always felt like someone is watching me. I don’t really feel safe anymore.

What I think? the Green Hornet

“Following the death of his father, Britt Reid, heir to his father's large company, teams up with his late dad's assistant Kato to become a masked crime fighting team.” source Imdb

I’ve finally got a chance to watch this movie. Overall I like it.
What I think?
*  I really like Kato in this movie. Love his move and his martial arts thing
* I love the cool car. I wish I have one in red
* somehow I have the feeling that they make the moves just for the sake of 3D version. Some of the moves will look cool in 3D version
* the storyline wasn’t so great. I don’t really remember what the fuss is all about after the movie. No long lasting ooo.. aaaahhh moment.
* My daughter wasn’t impress because she kept asking me when the movie is going to end
* watch this if you enjoy visually stimulating movie rather than great script or storyline.

Polaroid Love: Day #3

Today is Chinese New Year and it’s a public holiday here in Malaysia. I love holidays and I really enjoy my time so much. It’s so sad to see this day go.

I spend most of my time today with this little pinky

The two cousins meet at last after not seeing each other since last year. So many things to talk about.

In the last 24 hours I’ve …

… blogging, blog hopping and digiscrapping all day long
… watched the Green Hornet movie with my kids
… ate chicken at KFC BP Mall
… bought a book called Muslimin Professional
… taking a few photos for my polaroid project
…. thinking about Day 21 - A picture of something you wish you could forget, for my 30 day project
… catching up on my beauty sleep
… chilling out at home without ‘someone’ breathing down my neck
… I am experiencing pure happiness
…. reinstall necessary apps in my notebook

Polaroid Love: Day #2

It’s Green Hornet time! I’ve promised to take my kids to watch Green Hornet today just because I want to watch the 2D version. I love watching movie at my hometown because it only took me 10 minutes to get there and the queue wasn’t that long.

Today’s polaroid love was taken with my Sony Xperia X10 8mp camera. This camera is good in bright light and not really good in low light because it doesn’t have any build in flash, just a photo light.

take a peak at these beautiful creations! 02.02.2011

It’s February already! Wow! Time flies really fast this year. So far I’m enjoying 2011. I got a feeling that this year is going to be great.

I am on a long break from work, so I have a little time to find some inspiration from the galleries to get me inspire this week!

“I love photography. I feel in love with it ever since
I had my first child.Every moment with him was so
precious. I snapped his photo almost every
second. I am so thankful that they invented digital
camera. My obsession did stop there, it continues
to my second and third child. Then I discovered
digital scrapbooking for a creative way to showcase
my photos. I was hooked. There was no turning
back. Photography and digital scarpbooking have
been a part of my life for more than 10 years now.
I’m just a hobbyist and I don’t intent to go
professional. I know photography is an expensive
hobby in Malaysia but you’ll do anything for the things
you love, right!”

Polaroid Love: Day #1

I was inspired by Nonofara’s to participate in Polaroid project in February. As always I love photography and I love all the projects related to photography. Polaroid was popular back in the days as far as 1948. Instant self-developing film where the photos came out immediately right from the camera.

(source: from wikipedia)

I was not a fan of polaroid back in the days. I’m not sure why. Maybe because of the price or maybe because it wasn’t as popular here compare to in US. I still think digital camera is the coolest thing ever invented because of it’s versatility and instant gratification!

When Nono introduce us to instant polaroid apps I was curious enough to give it a try.

It was pretty cool and convenient compare to Photoshop effect  or manually creating the polaroid effect from Adobe Photoshop. Here are some of eye candies from my collection.

*** hahaha it’s so clear that they were forced to pose in front of the camera.

30 day photo challenge: #Day 18 01.02.2011

#Day 18 - A picture of your biggest insecurity

My biggest insecurity? I have a lot of insecurity which I don’t really want to share. To choose just one is a bit tough for me. I think the biggest insecurity in my life would be my marriage.

One day you were deeply in love and nothing can’t touch you, the next day everything can just fall apart. A lot of things can go wrong.

I just love being a daughter and spending my time at my hometown

There’s nothing like being a daughter and enjoying the town where I grew up. So many things changes here but the only thing remain the same is I am a daughter here. I like having my parents around because I don’t have to do everything myself. They still help me out on things that I find really time consuming to do it myself like renew my road tax. I know I know that’s not very grown up of me.. heheh..

So today I spend most of my time shopping at the mall and making some digital layouts. Here are a few I managed to do while browsing the internet. I can’t believe that late at night the streamyx line was slower than usual. I switched to maxis broadband immediately.

Anyway enjoy this little eye candy from me.

#Day 17 - A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently

I don’t really think I have anything that really make a huge impact on me recently. The only thing I can think of was the day I bought my new car which is two years ago. That was really the milestone for me where my life changes completely! I’m celebrating my independence and I like it!
