day 338 Project 365

the story behind the pen? 338of365

It belongs to none other than Mr. Ben Ashaari himself. We exchanged blog links with each other during the gathering the old fashion way using pen and paper. At the end of the gathering I accidently tuck the pen in my notebook and carried it home. When I gave Ben a tinkle about the pen, he told me I could keep it. Lucky me! Open-mouthed smile

Bloggers reunite, Alamanda and Ben Ashaari

It’s Saturday and it’s all happened at Alamanda, Putrajaya. For the first time I meet these amazing bloggers from different places and background.

Gathering_BenAshaari02 * the girls Gathering_BenAshaari01 * this is me playing around with macbook pro belongs to JOEGRIMJOW Gathering_BenAshaari03 * the girls with Mr Ben Ashaari himself

It was great meeting them for the first time
Random things I’ve learned:
* blogger community in Malaysia is very competitive
* the political agenda surrounding the popular bloggers are insane!
* I’ve been blogging for more than four years now and I’ve never knew that things could get this ugly
* the best thing ever is meeting new people and sharing experiences. I don’t think I’ll meet people like Ben Ashaari if I wasn’t a blogger.
* the most important thing ever is your intention. I can’t maintain the passion for blogging for this long if I wasn’t clear of why I’m doing this
* for me these whole experience – from my old blogs and venture into the new blog – is more for personal growth.

benashaari * this is one dedicated blogger—Ben Ashaari

day 337: P365 ~~ I saw this when I got back from work

I love seeing my daughter's art work. It’s so cute. She really has the talent and the desire to be artistic. I am thinking of sending her to some art class or something.

Just a quick update

Today felt like a long day. So many things on my plate. I received my access to Blog Love course today. I am so excited and inspired all at the same time. I've got a few things on my to do list need to be crossed out. Meeting my friend Timi at Mattop just to catch up.
And a few minutes from now I am going to watched this movie………
….. with Ben Ashaari and Ady. Open-mouthed smile
I really can’t wait to see Robert Downey Jr. It has been a long time since I saw him in anything new.
It was so funny! I really had such a great time watching the couple.

Feature Blogger: Firzara’s Fairyland

I am very lucky to have the opportunity to interview one of the beautiful blogger of Firzara’s Fairyland. She is one busy woman and I am glad that she is willing to take the time and do this interview with me.

The name: Ayu
The blog:
A blogger, a scrapper, an artist, domestic goddess, web developer and multimedia designer.

Q&A Session
#1) How do you come out with the name Firzara’s Fairyland?

I like the name Firzara. I’ve been using that in cyberworld since a few years ago. Firzara Fairyland marked the chapter of my life and officially launched in January 2010. I’ve closed my old blog for public and I focus more in this blog.

#2) How do you describe Firzara’s Fairyland blog?

I would like this blog to be about everyday things, tips and tricks, beautiful things on subject that matters to me at this moment. I would describe my blog as a lifestyle blog.

#3) I would like  to wish you Congratulation on your engagement to your boyfriend. Life must be very busy with work, blogging and a wedding coming up soon. How do you find the time to juggle everything, especially blogging?

  1. Planning is everything. I have this little notebook I carry everywhere to jot down things that comes through my mind.
  2. Schedule blog time. You can say that I am a night time blogger. That is mostly when I have the inspiration to blog.
  3. Know what you want and just do it.

#4) I have notice that you have loss a significant amount of weight this last few weeks. So what is your secret?

  1. First, you must have a clear goal. What you want to accomplish and when. For me , I would really like to look good for my wedding, so that’s one of the motivation.
  2. Eating habits. I have to change my eating habit completely. I used to hate eating fruits and vegetables but I make an effort to consume then in a daily basis and I feel GREAT!
  3. Drink lots of water at least 2 – 3 liters per day
  4. Exercise at least 3 times a week
  5. Move more. I take stairs instead of elevator at work.

#5) Last but not least, what is your plan for the future for Firzara’s Fairyland?

Well, I know that my life will not be the same after I got married. I know for sure that my blog will grow and change as I experience the journey as a wife. I would also like to focus more on my dream to open up a cupcake + craft shop café. So I would probably blog more about that.

That’s all that we have time for today.  I would like to wish Firzara a happy and wonderful wedding and happy blogging. Till next time.

day 335:P365 ~~ my beautiful December

I am really happy today. Life is amazingly simple and beautiful. Somehow the energy at the office is different. Everybody seems relax and excited to do our job.
* I did my workout today – Dance with me – love, love, love this DVD
* I watched Rapunzel movie with the kids
* catch up with some friends on facebook and YM
* watching Charmed while blogging

What I think? Rapunzel: Tangled

"After receiving the healing powers from a magical flower, the baby Princess Rapunzel is kidnapped from the palace in the middle of the night by Mother Gothel. Mother Gothel knows that the flower's magical powers are now growing within the golden hair of Rapunzel, and to stay young, she must lock Rapunzel in her hidden tower. Rapunzel is now a teenager and her hair has grown to a length of 70-feet. The beautiful Rapunzel has been in the tower her entire life, and she is curious of the outside world. One day, the bandit Flynn Ryder scales the tower and is taken captive by Rapunzel. Rapunzel strikes a deal with the charming thief to act as her guide to travel to the place where the floating lights come from that she has seen every year on her birthday. Rapunzel is about to have the most exciting and magnificent journey of her life. Written by Douglas Young (the-movie-guy)

Ben Ashaari and Blog Love: to join or not to join

I am thinking about joining this class. Elsie is one of my all time favourite blogger. I’ve been following her since 2006. I really like her writing style and her artistic approach to life. This class has 12 sessions, all about blogging. I have never join any online courses before. So I am a bit concern if I can commit myself to finish the course. I know I am going to have a great time there. hemm…
I think I am going to sleep on this. If I dream about it or can’t stop thinking about it, then I’ll probably sign up!
imageOOOppps on more thing.. today is Ben Ashaari Birthday. He is also one of my favourite blogger. So I would like to take this opportunity to wish him HAPPY BIRTHDAY. May all your wishes come true. (Ben bila nak belanja makan kek? Jangan ajak Ady sorang je.. kita orang pun nak juga.. heheh)

day 334:P365

It’s day 334 today. That means on 31 days left! Wow! What a journey this year has been. Amazing.

I would like to share today’s photo. It’s a sight I often see especially during this school holiday. My daughter in front of the computer. Somehow Barbie doll isn’t in her radar anymore. She even asked me for a facebook account and I said she is too young to have one. And she said one of her friend is already on facebook! And I told her that she must be at least 13 years old to have one. Luckily she dropped the subject. Oh boy! Raising a kid in facebook era is going to be so much tougher!
